Despite their contributions to our country, lies a pressing truth and issue. Many of our laborers continue to face unjust conditions: inadequate wages, contractual insecurity, unsafe workplaces, and systems that fail to protect their dignity. These are not isolated strugglesโthey are systemic issues that demand urgent attention.
We condemn all forms of injustice that undermine the rights and welfare of workers. No Filipino should have to choose between survival and dignity. Fair compensation, humane working conditions, and equal opportunities are not privilegesโthey are fundamental rights in the Philippine Constitution.
Today, we call on the Philippine Government for stronger, more responsive systems that uphold equality and fairness in wages, protect workers from exploitation, and ensure that progress is shared by allโnot just a few.
Solidarity is not just a wordโit is a commitment. A commitment to listen, to act, and to stand alongside every Filipino laborer in the ongoing struggle for justice, dignity, and a better tomorrow.
