We are a volunteer-led NGO that bridges our requesting victim-survivors (RVS) of gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to free psychosocial, legal, medical, and other aid. We are beyond humbled by the trust you have placed in us in achieving everything we have, together.

A short, initial sharing on how we’ve been.

Thank you to everyone who has been with us through this journey — to our victim-survivors who have trusted us, to our partners who have supported us in realizing our mission, and to all our Sulong! allies for justice and recovery. ☀️

We sincerely apologize for the past inactivity and current slow responses to your inquiries, and really appreciate your understanding for our volunteers. We understand the need for our services, and are working with the current manpower, funding, and other resources we can to be able to accommodate you soonest.

Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted in the next days/ weeks about available services, and will be checking in on any latest cases so ensure they have been assisted to our capacity.

Calling all Ateneans! Today is the LAST DAY to register for Sulong Philippines and the Sanggunian: Commission on Anti-Sexual Misconduct and Violence’s workshop,
SIKLAB: Igniting the Spirit of Recovery and Justice, on March 1, Wednesday, at the Ateneo de Manila University.

The workshop features the following topics:
- An interactive workshop on SOGIESC and sexual and reproductive health by Maia Dapul
- Fighting against gender-based violence in university and beyond by Aleijn Reintegrado

Upon finishing the workshop, participants will have access to:
- An educational e-leaflet as reference to the topics discussed,
- A Sulong primer which provides information such as the organization’s free services for victim-survivors of sexual violence and harassment,
- A free teleconsultation from Kindred, a clinic centered on female health. Attendees can choose from the following services: OB GYN Consultation, Nutrition Consultation, General Care Consultation, and Mental Health Consultation.

TW// Mentions of Human Trafficking

Sulong stands for the vulnerable, and voiceless, to the people who are abused, assaulted, and oppressed.
Sulong invites you to read a narration about the struggles of the following individuals as they face the issue of human trafficking. Last July 30, we observe the day as the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

This issue must be addressed immediately as it is a major global concern that must be raised. Let's work together, hand in hand, to free human trafficking victims and shine a light of hope that will dispel this darkness.

Let's give warm hugs to the victim-survivors, and abolish the issue of human trafficking. With the development of communication through technology and the spread of awareness, we can all work together to end injustice and speak up for what is just and right through collective action.
