The 19th Philippine Migrant Health Network (PMHN) Meeting, held on June 18, 2026 at Bayview Park Hotel Manila, convened key stakeholders from government, development partners, and civil society to advance coordinated action on migrant health.

The meeting provided a platform to review progress under the PMHN Strategic Plan, share updates on ongoing initiatives, and strengthen collaboration across sectors. Participants likewise identified priority actions to further enhance evidence-informed policies and programs for migrant health.

Technical discussions highlighted emerging and pressing concerns affecting Filipino migrants, including infectious diseases, mental health, and evolving global developments, alongside updates from PMHN member agencies on their respective programs and initiatives.

Through these collective efforts, PMHN continues to champion a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach to ensuring that no migrant is left behind.

The Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC) is aware of reports that Filipino travelers to Oman may be required to present an HIV test certificate.

Presently, this remains unconfirmed, and we are coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for clarification.

We advise the public to rely only on official DFA advisories and avoid sharing unverified information. Updates will be provided once available.

In light of the current situation in the Gulf region, Mindset Plus Philippines, in partnership with the Migrant Workers Office - Riyadh, is offering a FREE ONLINE MENTAL WELLNESS SUPPORT CIRCLE for Filipino migrant workers, particularly those in Saudi Arabia and nearby countries.

This aims to provide a supportive space where our kababayans can come together to manage stress, stay calm during uncertain moments, learn simple grounding techniques, and feel supported and connected with fellow Filipinos. Participants will also have a safe space to talk, share thoughts, and express feelings openly.
