The Save Zambales Kalikasan Movement protects biodiversity and struggles against development aggression that threatens community biodiversity in San Narciso, Zambales.

The Save Zambales Kalikasan Movement is a coalition of people’s organizations based in Zambales, Philippines, which include fisherfolk groups, resort owners associations, business owners, surfer organizations, artists’ groups, environmental defenders, and concerned citizens working together to protect biodiversity and campaign against development aggression that endangers critical areas of community biodiversity.

One of our goals is to educate the public and the locals on protecting the country’s rich biodiversity and their livelihood.

Here's some information on the geography of San Narciso!

The town of San Narciso is situated on a flat plain. The town is located on the west coast of the South China Sea, and the Zambales Mountain Ranges are located on the east bank of the Sto. Tomas River. Average height above sea level is approximately 3.6 meters (12 ft), while the highest elevation is approximately 800 meters (2,600 feet). (Wikipedia)

Brgy. La Paz is located on the west coast of the Philippines, facing the West Philippine Sea. The West Philippine Sea can be reached by two river estuaries in the area. The Alusiis River runs through the northern portion of the community, while a second river runs through the southern portion.
