A life should never become just another headline. The FEU HS TALA mourns the loss of Jang Caes Macawili, a 17-year-old Trans sister whose life deserved to continue beyond August 10, 2026.

We honor Jang by remembering her not only for the circumstances surrounding her death, but for the person she was and the life she deserved to liveโ€”with safety, dignity, and freedom.

Hindi dapat maging normal ang pagkawala ng isang buhay dahil lamang sa kanilang pagkatao o pagkakakilanlan.

TALA calls for a thorough and impartial investigation and for accountability for those responsible. Her name deserves to be remembered, her life deserves to be honored, and her case deserves justice.
