Typhoon Tino has left a deep impact on our communities. Many were forced to brave dangerous, brown-colored floodwaters, while countless families have lost their homes and loved ones in the disaster.

In response, Lihok Kabatan-Unan is extending immediate assistance to those severely affected. We are now accepting both monetary and in-kind donations to support relief and rehabilitation efforts across the affected areas. Your contribution—no matter how small—will go a long way in helping rebuild lives and bring hope to those in need.

Together, let us continue to uphold compassion and solidarity in these challenging times.

Thank you and as always, amping.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reports that Typhoon Tino is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Once inside, it will be officially named “Tino.”

As of the latest monitoring, the weather disturbance was located east of Mindanao and is moving west-northwestward. It may intensify into a tropical storm or typhoon and could bring heavy rainfall, strong winds, and possible flooding or landslides in parts of Visayas, including Cebu Province, by early next week.

In preparation for the approaching typhoon, we provided a list below of emergency hotlines applicable for the Cebu area, which will serve as your immediate 911 contacts for assistance and response during the storm. Please save these numbers and keep them accessible at all times.

Let us all remain calm, alert, and prepared as Typhoon Tino approaches. Your safety is our top priority.

Ourteam successfully distributed relief goods to three locations in the northern part of Cebu, namely:
• Barangay Liki (Tribu)
• Barangay Liki (Road)
• Barangay Sacsac

The journey was long and challenging due to heavy traffic, but every moment was truly worth it. We departed at around 7:30 AM and reached the area by 5:00 PM, immediately proceeding with the distribution of donations.

At Barangay Liki (Tribu), we were warmly welcomed by the residents. Despite their current hardships, they greeted us with genuine smiles and open hearts. According to the locals, since the donation drives began on Thursday, their community had only been visited twice—our group being the second. It was a humbling and emotional experience to witness their resilience and gratitude.

At Barangay Liki (Road), many residents were visibly hungry, yet they waited patiently and respectfully for their turn to receive assistance. Their understanding and composure, despite their situation, deeply moved us.

Meanwhile, at Barangay Sacsac, the children’s excitement and bright smiles were truly heartwarming. Even though our supplies were limited, their joy and positive energy uplifted everyone’s spirits, reminding us of the true essence of compassion and service.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who donated and showed their unwavering support. Your generosity has reached those who need it most—this is where your donations go, and this is the impact you have made.

And to Kuya Jacob and Gabby, our heartfelt thanks for your invaluable support and assistance throughout the journey. We couldn’t have successfully reached our destinations without your help and guidance.
