October 10, 2025.

Loaded with packed relief goods and good spirits, the team of volunteers from Vicsal Foundation (VSF) and Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) traveled to Northern Cebu, across Bogo City and the four municipalities of Borbon, San Remigio, Medellin, and Daan Bantayan to distribute the relief goods to the following barangays:
1. Brgy. Bongdo Gua, Borbon
2. Brgy. Gairan, Bogo City
3. Brgy. Bagtik, San Remigio
4. Brgy. Dalingding Sur, Medellin
5. Brgy. Dalingding, Daan Bantayan

Numbered at 2,000, each relief pack contains food, non-food, and hygiene items for each affected family.

The successful and organized distribution of relief goods to the aforementioned barangays have been made possible through the team's close coordination with the Municipalities and respective barangays, as well as the cooperation of Metro Bogo.

Indeed, the spirit of charity and love for humanity served as the team's beacon of hope that no distance nor fear of uncertainty can dim.

In its sustained efforts to stand with the survivors of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Cebu, Vicsal Foundation (VSF), with the support of its affiliates, partners, and donors, has organized a second wave of relief operations for the affected families residing in Northern Cebu, particularly in the City of Bogo, and the municipalities of Borbon, San Remigio, Medellin, and Daan Bantayan.

With a target benificiary of 2,000 families, the task may have sounded daunting, but with a strong sense of community and charity, VSF's preparation for the distribution of relief goods to the aforementioned communities have been accomplished remarkably well.

On October 9, 2025, VSF personnel, scholars, and Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) personnel altogether packed a total of 2,000 relief packs for the families in Northern Cebu. The packing of relief goods has also been generously assisted by Metro Mandaue.

With the survivors' welfare in mind, these volunteers spared no time in idleness, instead, they lent their strength and time for the mission of relief assistance distribution on October 10, 2025.
