The secondary (UP, USJ-R, and NPS) and tertiary (UP College) PUNLA Scholars actively participated in the 4th Personality Development Session with the theme "Grinding with Grace: Pause and Pray to Press On" held last April 25, 2026 at AVR 1, University of the Philippines Cebu.

The session centered on timely and relevant topics such as time management, burnout, and stress, equipping scholars with practical strategies for personal growth and development. The interactive morning workshop was facilitated by Sir Marc Clint A. Maceda, while the afternoon featured a talk show where the Board of Trustees, PUNLA Executive Director and staff shared reflections and experiences connected to the theme.

This meaningful gathering not only provided valuable insights but also strengthened bonds among scholars, thus highlighting the PUNLA Family’s commitment to nurturing resilience, faith, and purpose in every journey. ✨🌱

Ngayong araw ay ginugunita natin ang ika-84 na Araw ng Kagitingan—isang taimtim na pag-alala sa kabayanihan at sakripisyo ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig para sa kalayaan ng ating bansa.

Sa paggunita ng Araw ng Kagitingan, nawa’y magsilbi silang inspirasyon upang patatagin ang ating paninindigan, maglingkod nang may integridad, at patuloy na mag-ambag sa pagbuo ng isang bansang karapat-dapat sa kanilang sakripisyo.

Dear Friends,

Q-Park is once again open to the public during Holy Week 2026, from March 30 to April 5, 6:00am to 7:00pm. We have no scheduled community activities; mass, confessions, retreats, etc. Q-Park is pet-friendly, just please take care no incidents happen. And please take care of your mess to keep the place as clean and orderly as when you came. Visiting Q-Park is always free.

𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃 𝐑𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐀 (𝐂𝐄𝐁𝐔) 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐈𝐍𝐂.

PUNLA (Cebu) Foundation, Inc. is pleased to share that the Foundation once again satisfactorily met the standards for accreditation set by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during its re-accreditation conducted on October 22–23, 2025. The Certificate of Accreditation is valid for three (3) years, covering the period from November 11, 2025 to March 25, 2028.

During the assessment, the Foundation’s Key Result Areas were thoroughly evaluated by DSWD Standards Bureau Accreditor, Ma. Luisa M. Aquino. These included (1) Administration and Organization (i.e., Technical and Financial Capacities), (2) Program Management, (3) Case Management, (4) Helping Strategies and Interventions, and (5) Physical Structure and Safety, with the Foundation being in full compliance with DSWD standards.

The secondary (UP, USJ-R, and NPS) and tertiary (UP College) PUNLA Scholars joyfully gathered for their Christmas Get-Together last December 20, 2025.

The celebration was filled with laughter and camaraderie as scholars showcased their talents through presentations and shared a festive meal together. This special occasion was graced by the Board of Trustees of the PUNLA (Cebu) Foundation, Inc., the newly inducted PUNLA Alumni Association members, and two inspiring PUNLA Guest Speakers who imparted wisdom and heartfelt reflections—reminding everyone of the journey from being a punla (seedling) to becoming a sturdy tree that provides shade and support to others.

It was truly a memorable gathering that strengthened bonds, celebrated achievements, and highlighted the spirit of community that defines the PUNLA Family.✨🌱🎄🎉

The Grades 4 and 5 Norberto & Britta Quisumbing (NBQ) Scholars joyfully celebrated their Jollibee Christmas Party last December 13, 2025.

This festive gathering was made even more special with the presence of the Board of Trustees of PUNLA (Cebu) Foundation, Inc., the school principals and coordinators of four elementary schools—Mayor A.S. Fortuna Memorial (Guizo), Cesar M. Cabahug (Looc), Opao, and Umapad—and most importantly, the scholars’ parents and/or guardians.

The NBQ Scholars genuinely had fun, sharing laughter, games, and the warmth of the season. The Foundation hopes that through this celebration, the scholars experienced the Christmas they truly deserved as they celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ; a Christmas filled with joy and love. ✨🌱🎄🎉
