BREAKING News: The DOH has detected one new case of monkeypox, also known as Mpox, in the country. The 10th laboratory-confirmed Mpox case was reported to the DOH on Sunday, Aug. 18. This is after the WHO declared Mpox a global public health emergency for the second time in two years.

Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez joins President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in the turn-over of keys of maintenance and operations equipment to the regional heads of National Irrigation Administration (NIA) held at the Construct City in Mexico, Pampanga Wednesday morning.
Under the leadership of Speaker Romualdez, the House of Representatives allocated funds for the purchase of aforesaid equipment which will be instrumental in improving the country’s irrigation facilities and boosting productivity of Filipino farmers.
Also present to witness the ceremonial turn-over are Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr., Deputy Majority Leader Janette Garin, Department of Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. and NIA chief Eduardo Guillen.
