Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc., through its Resource Extension for Accessible Community Health (R.E.A.C.H) program, turned over medical equipment and supplies to the BJMP Mandaue City Jail-Male Dormitory in Basak, Mandaue City, in support of the health and welfare of more than 1,600 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Through initiatives like this, the Foundation continues to help strengthen access to healthcare support for underserved communities and institutions.

Following the recent fire incident in Sitio Univille, Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City, Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) turned over relief goods and clothing items to 171 affected families.

Barangay officials and beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the assistance, recognizing it as timely support to help them in the recovery process.

Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) extended support to the elderly residents of Seven Sisters of Servants of Mary Elderly Home Inc. in Talisay City, Cebu during its outreach activity on March 24, 2026.

As part of this initiative, BDCFI donated essential goods, hygiene supplies, and medicines to the center, extending support and care to the community of senior citizens. This outreach activity is under the Heart to Hand Program of the foundation.

The elderly home, led by Center Head Sister Mari Joy Maurillo, together with its residents, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity extended to them, emphasizing how such acts bring encouragement, dignity, and joy to the center.

Through its Heart to Hand Program, Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) conducted an outreach activity for the My Bonita Home for Girls in Talamban, Cebu City, on March 19, 2026.

During the visit, the exchange focused on the importance of shared support and a sense of community, in nurturing and developing lives, and in this case the young residents of the Franciscan-supported home.

The administrators of My Bonita Homes led by Executive Director Sister Joelita Preagido and the residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity extended to them, noting how such initiatives bring encouragement and joy to their community.

The name BENE, derived from the Latin word meaning “good,” reflects the spirit of benevolence and the value of people and organizations working together in service of others.

Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. took part in the League of Corporate Foundations - LCF CSR Convention 2026, hosted for the first time in Cebu Province. Anchored on the theme “Adapt. Align. Accelerate.”, the event gathered corporate foundations and non-government organizations from across Cebu and the Visayas at Maayo Hotel, Mandaue City.

Representing BDCFI were Wilhelm Wade A. Eusores, Executive Director; Margie P. Bulado, Executive Assistant; Rose Annie T. Pico, Finance and Administration Officer; Yvonne B. Abadano, Programs Officer; and Ann Joachim G. Barlam, Communications Officer. Together with fellow participants, the team engaged in meaningful discussions, open forums, and knowledge-sharing sessions on corporate social responsibility, sustainability initiatives, and disaster resilience strategies led by resource speakers from LCF and partner organizations.

BDCFI remains committed to building stronger partnerships and working alongside like-minded institutions in creating safer, more sustainable, and empowered communities.
