Through its Resource Extension for Accessible Community Health (R.E.A.C.H.) Program, Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) donated medical equipment and supplies to the BJMP Mandaue City Jail-Male Dormitory in Basak, Mandaue City.

The donation was formally turned over by BDCFI Independent Board Trustee Melanie C. Ng and Executive Director Wilhelm Wade A. Eusores to Jail Superintendent Jessie James G. Gingoyon, Warden of Mandaue City Jail, in the presence of jail officers and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

The donated items will help support the healthcare needs of more than 1,600 male PDLs, contributing to the facility's efforts to provide timely and accessible medical care.

This initiative reflects BDCFI's continuing commitment to promoting equitable healthcare access and supporting communities and institutions that serve vulnerable sectors.

Thank you Bogo City! The Bogo City Sangguniang Panlungsod passed SP Resolution No. 540-2025, expressing its heartfelt gratitude to Chong Hua Hospital for extending relief assistance to the city after the 6.9 magnitude earthquake on September 30, 2025.

This extended assistance was part of the Tabang Sugbuanon disaster relief operations, led by Benevola de Cebu Foundation, Chong Hua Hospital and its parent organization, Asociacion Benevola de Cebu Inc., together with its donor-partners. The coordinated effort supported the recovery process of the LGU and its affected communities.

Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) extended support to the elderly residents of Seven Sisters of Servants of Mary Elderly Home Inc. in Talisay City, Cebu during its outreach activity on March 24, 2026.

As part of this initiative, BDCFI donated essential goods, hygiene supplies, and medicines to the center, extending support and care to the community of senior citizens. This outreach activity is under the Heart to Hand Program of the foundation.

Through its Heart to Hand Program, Benevola de Cebu Foundation Inc. (BDCFI) conducted an outreach activity for the My Bonita Home for Girls in Talamban, Cebu City, on March 19, 2026.

During the visit, the exchange focused on the importance of shared support and a sense of community, in nurturing and developing lives, and in this case the young residents of the Franciscan-supported home.

The administrators of My Bonita Homes led by Executive Director Sister Joelita Preagido and the residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity extended to them, noting how such initiatives bring encouragement and joy to their community.
