4th UCLM CARES Exemplar Award: Honoring Excellence in Community Engagement and Service
The University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Campus โ Community Awareness, Relations, and Extension Services (CARES) Office successfully conducted the 4th UCLM CARES Exemplar Award, recognizing individuals, programs, and community partners who have demonstrated exemplary commitment and dedication to community extension and volunteerism.

Sabornido, Education Supervisor II, Department of Education Region VII, whose support and encouragement further strengthened the Universityโs commitment to community engagement and service.
The CARES Exemplar Award highlights the vital role of community extension as one of the Universityโs trifocal functions alongside Instruction and Research. Through the collective efforts of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners, UCLM continues to create meaningful, responsive, and sustainable programs that empower communities and transform lives.
