The 6th district, which is composed of a Mandaue City, Consolacion and Cordova, is considered to be the core area of the Province in terms of economic development. It’s location vital in the development of Cebu, where major and effective infrastructure programs needs to be in place. As we are facing the new millennium, we need new leaders who possesses the intellectual capability, physical dynamism and solid track record to deal with the challenges that Cebu will be facing. Cebu, as the premier province of the country, needs to muster its own resources and strength to retain its position as the number province of the country and with its resources being felt by the Cebuanos from all sectors of our society.

Board Member- elect Glenn Soco, with his solid track record in business and public service, is an ideal addition to the provincial government. His dedication and passion for public service coupled with his clean track record fits the qualities of a true public servant.

His platform of government are as follows:

1. To create employment opportunities through the creation of the Barangay Employment Services Program which will enable the barangay to provide: (A) Employment assistance through the office and computer facilities with internet access to beused by applicants, (B) Faster processing of barangay clearances, (C) Photo services, (D) People empowerment seminars and trainings to enrich applicants, (E) Job matching with the PESO, (F) Appointment of a Barangay Employment Services Officer (BESO), (G) Telephone and teleconferencing services and (H) TESDA scholarships
