This year, we take the biggest step yet!🏳️‍🌈 For the very first time, Cebu City will be joined by Cebu Province, Mandaue City, and local government units from across the island in one united march for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with the theme: 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗜𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗕𝗢, 𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗡!

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

More than a parade, this is a powerful symbol of how far we have come. From fighting to be seen, to being welcomed into halls of government. From small gatherings of advocates, to thousands of Cebuanos standing together under one rainbow flag. From conversations about inclusion, to concrete commitments that help build a more inclusive Cebu for ALL.

On June 27, we march not only to celebrate who we are, but to celebrate what we are becoming: a province where every person can live with dignity, safety, respect, and pride.

This is what progress looks like. This is what unity looks like. This is what hope looks like. And we're just getting started and we owe this to our ever supportive leaders, you, our partner community organizations, institutions, and advocates!

Led by two united leaders People's Governor, Gov Pam Baricuatro of Cebu Province and Cebu City's Mayor Nestor Archival, and organized by Cebu Pride Movement, Cebu City Anti-Discrimination Commission, and Cebu City Sogiesc Pride Empowerment Council - SPEC, supported by our friends from JCI Cebu Lakan Bahaghari, ONE PRIDE Mandaue, and Pride PH.

🏳️‍🌈 𝗔 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲! 🏳️‍⚧️

The Cebu LGBTQIA+ community celebrates a significant milestone as the 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 was officially signed by Cebu People's Governor, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, during the opening of the 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This landmark initiative recognizes the importance of ensuring that LGBTQIA+ individuals and their chosen families are given the dignity, respect, and right to participate in healthcare decisions for their loved ones. It is a powerful affirmation that love, care, and family come in many forms.

Today, we celebrate not only Pride but also progress—towards a Cebu where every person is seen, valued, and protected regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

Together, let us continue to advocate for equality, inclusion, and human rights for all.

The 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗤 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 proudly participated in the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗘𝗜) 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held at the Cebu Provincial Capitol, the opening activity of the 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

This meaningful gathering brought together advocates, leaders, and allies committed to building a more inclusive, equitable, and diverse Cebu for all. Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, we continue to strengthen our collective commitment to promoting equality, respect, and human dignity.
