PCCI is proud to participate in the National Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Forum on September 23, 2026 in Iloilo City.
Atty. Jobert Peñaflorida, Area Vice President for the Visayas of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, took the stage as a panelist for the “Digital & Institutional Market Integration for F2C2 Clusters” session.
Joined by fellow industry experts and leaders, the discussion focuses on bridging farmers to consumers through strategic partnerships, cutting-edge innovation, and technology to strengthen market linkages for agricultural clusters.

Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Region VI, under the leadership of Regional Governor Engr. Fulbert Woo, hosted the pilot run for the nationwide toll-out for PCCI of the 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 – 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 (𝐇𝐏𝐃𝐄-𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄) on September 15, 2026 in Iloilo City.

Atty. Jobert Penaflorida, PCCI Visayas Area Vice President, thanked the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), as the program’s main implementation partner, with LAYERTech Software Labs as CIPE’s technical consultant, for this laudable digital project.

CIPE Country Director Ryan Evangelista and PCCI Asst. Secretary General Ms Grace Morella attended the event, together with PCCI Regional Secretariat Focal Person for the Visayas, Ms. Annalyn de Ocampo, and PCCI Antique Pres. Rani Rodriguez and Guimaras Island Chamber Pres. Sanie Diadio Ong.

Center for International Private Enterprise, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and LAYERTech Software Labs conducts the 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 – 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 (𝗛𝗣𝗗𝗘-𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘)'s first Training of Mentors in Iloilo, Philippines, marking an important milestone in the program’s implementation.

A total of 26 selected mentors from PCCI’s local chamber partners (and Nolitc) across the Visayas participated in the training, gaining a deeper understanding of the HPDE course, its digital resources, and the newly developed 𝗛𝗣𝗗𝗘 𝗔𝗜 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. The mentors are being equipped to provide practical, context-specific guidance to MSMEs as they navigate digital technologies and emerging business tools.

This mentor rollout forms part of the broader HPDE-DRIVE initiative to reach and support MSMEs through structured digital learning, mentorship, and access to relevant resources.

The program is hosted by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), and Layertech Labs, in collaboration with PCCI’s chamber partners in the Visayas.

Through a network of trained mentors and industry partners, HPDE-DRIVE aims to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs to adopt digital solutions, improve business practices, and participate more effectively in the digital economy.

Halal for All.

Atty. Jobert Penaflorida represented PCCI-Visayas, as its Area Vice President, at the 3rd BIMP-EAGA (Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asia Growth Area) Trade, Investment and Halal Industry Conference on September 2, 2026.

He joined PCCI President Ferdinand Ferrer, PCCI Chairman Jude Aguilar, AVP Yolanda de la Cruz (NCR) and AVP Nenita Malbas (Mindanao), and other PCCI officers and members.

Jointly organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Sabah, the event was held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu.

This high-level regional conference kicks off a strategic week, until September 6, 2026, focused on trade, investment, networking, and regional collaboration across ASEAN and beyond.

🇵🇭 PCCI Visayas 3rd Quarter Area Leaders Meeting: Chairman meets the Chambers

Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Visayas brought together over 40 leaders from its 25 Chambers on August 28, 2026 (via zoom). A venue for sharing regional developments, strengthening collaboration, and advancing initiatives for a more competitive and resilient Visayas.
