November 15, 2025 | Amidst the challenges brought by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Bogo City, the BCBP Bogo Chapter successfully distributed various relief goods to the victims of the Typhoon Tino in Cantuod, Balamban, Cebu and Owak, Asturias, Cebu. These supplies included rice, groceries, bread, bottled water, kitchen utensils, footwear, school supplies, and used clothing.

To ensure the selected household received significant aid, the BCBP Bogo governance team, led by Chapter Head Engr. Jay Benueza and volunteer members, carefully prepared and personally delivered the supplies. The team found the experience both fulfilling and rewarding. They observed remarkable resilience and hope in the town despite its hardships. Smiles, expressions of gratitude, and sincere words from the typhoon victims reminded them of the importance of cooperation and service, especially during difficult times.

For the chapter, this activity is another meaningful and fulfilling responsibility. This simple act of kindness reflects the BCBP's compassion and dedication to fostering courage, strength, and hope while reassuring those affected by disasters that they are not alone. With God's presence, support, and loving embrace, better days are always ahead.

The activity wouldn't have been possible without the collective effort and steadfastness of all chapter members; therefore, the chapter sincerely thanks everyone with generous hearts who shared their valuable resources, whether in cash or in kind. With the membersโ€™ faithful support and the Lordโ€™s guiding hand, the community looks forward to the next phase of relief efforts soon.

The BCBP Bogo Chapter has successfully delivered relief goods to the BCBP Liloan Outreach, bringing hope to those affected by Typhoon Tino last November 4, 2025. The donations included sacks of rice, packed goods, portable stoves, boots, mosquito nets, clothes, and gallons of water all prepared through the generosity and bayanihan spirit of the members.

To remember the devastating impact of the typhoon, several photos and videos were posted, showing the aftermath of the floods that swept through homes and businesses.

Amid the destruction, stories of faith and courage emerged like that of Mr. Paolo Canoy and Mrs. February Canoy, a BCBP couple from the Talamban Chapter. Despite losing their printing shop and equipment to the floods, damages not even covered by insurance but they still found the strength to rescue two families in Liloan who lost everything. Their story reminds us that even when storms take away what we have, they cannot take away our faith, compassion, and calling to serve others.

Another moving testimony is from Mrs. Vicky Aguda-Armilla also from BCBP Talamban, who shared how their home in Greenhills Subdivision, was spared even as the Butuanon River overflowed. โ€œItโ€™s like a miracle,โ€ she said. โ€œWhile I was praying and watching the raging floodwaters, the flood stopped right before our street. The nearby tennis court was washed out, but our Lord answered our prayers.โ€

The members continues to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) that faith without action is empty, and gratitude for Godโ€™s blessings is best shown through love and service.

May these stories inspire us to remain hopeful, to give while we can, and to thank God for the precious gift of life because even in the midst of trials, He never leaves our side.

November 8, 2025 | The BCBP Bogo Chapter prepared and carried out relief operations for families affected by Typhoon Tino, which struck last November 4, 2025.

What makes this mission truly remarkable is that these same members were among those still recovering from the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Northern Cebu just weeks earlier. Yet, with hearts full of compassion, they chose to give back proving that genuine service shines brightest in times of hardship.

The relief effort was made possible through the collective sacrifice of members, many contributing from their own pockets, while others shared extra relief goods or gathered donations from friends and benefactors through a local donation drive. The City Government of Bogo also extended its support by lending a vehicle for the transport of goods to affected communities.

This act of bayanihan stands as a moving reminder that even in loss, God remains faithful and through acceptance, resilience, and gratitude, healing and hope find their way back into our hearts.

Members and guests of the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) experienced a spirit-filled morning on October 25, 2025, as the Mandaue West Chapter and Mandaue East Mission came together for a Joint Breakfast Fellowship held at Haroldโ€™s Hotel in Cebu City.

The joyous gathering was masterfully hosted by Mr. Brix and Dr. Kathy Gomez, whose warmth and flexibility created an atmosphere of celebration and connection among all attendees. The morning blended faith, fellowship, and friendshipโ€”hallmarks of the BCBPโ€™s continuing mission to bring Christ into the marketplace and to the world.

Highlighting the event were the heartfelt sharing of in-house couple life witnesses Engr. Norman and Engr. Beth del Mar, who reflected on the theme โ€œThroughout the seasons of our lives, God's love remains faithful forever.โ€ Their testimony of steadfast faith amidst lifeโ€™s changing circumstances deeply touched the community, reminding everyone that Godโ€™s presence endures through both triumph and trial.

Engr. B**g Bacus led the Scripture Response, anchoring the morning in prayer and reflection on Godโ€™s unwavering faithfulness. His insights inspired everyone to carry forward the message of hope and gratitude in both their personal and professional lives.

The fellowship was further graced with abundant spiritual harvest as the community welcomed nine first-timers who experienced the warmth of BCBPโ€™s brotherhood and the joy of encountering Godโ€™s love in a genuine atmosphere of fellowship.

Indeed, the October 25 gathering was more than just a breakfastโ€”it was a celebration of faith, relationships, and divine love that continues to transform lives season after season.

The BCBP Mandaue West Chapter held its Joint Breakfast fellowship last October 18, 2025 at the Bayfront Hotel, Mandaue City. Five first-time breakfasters were warmly welcomed during the event, which was hosted by emcees Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Mariesol Entienza.

The highlight of the event was the sharing of the life story of Engr. Rodney and Mrs. Laila Orale, from the Lapu-lapu Chapter. The couple emphasized three key messages. First, that our Heavenly Father works through people. The couple emphasized the importance of joining a Christian community which enabled them to navigate their obstacles in life. Second, they stated that God works in mysterious ways. They quoted Isaiah 41:10, which states, โ€œDo not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.โ€

Lastly, the couple declared that God is faithful and true to His promises. The pair highlighted that the trials they encountered taught them to trust in Jesus because He loves us unconditionally, and that God gave us His only Son Jesus in order for us to have eternal life.

The scripture response was delivered by Engr. B**g Bacus. He quoted Jeremiah 29:11, which states, โ€For I know the plans I have for you,โ€™ declares the LORD, โ€˜plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.โ€ The closing prayer reminded everyone of Godโ€™s continual presence in our lives, families, and communities. An earnest prayer was also made to be able to grow and live out lives of integrity and honesty as witnesses of Godโ€™s love.

The breakfast fellowship was followed by a Praise and Worship assembly led by Worship Leader Roque Medalla anchored on the theme, โ€œStill and Surrendered in His Presenceโ€œ. Indeed, it was a time for members to express their faith and love through songs of worship and praise.

The assembly served as a powerful reminder of the transformation that results from surrendering oneโ€™s own will to Godโ€™s Plans and from waiting with expectant faith for the promises of our good and faithful Father. Truly, the morningโ€™s gathering was a wonderful opportunity to be refreshed with the presence of the Holy Spirit through fellowship with one another.

Faith That Endures: Mandaue East Missionโ€™s Joint Breakfast Fellowship Strengthens Bonds of Brotherhood

The Mandaue East Mission gathered for a spirit-filled Joint Breakfast Fellowship on October 18, 2025, at Harolds Hotel. Guided by faith and fellowship, the event brought together members in joyful worship, inspiring testimonies, and heartfelt camaraderie.

Serving gracefully as emcees, Mr. Franz and Dr. Maxene Gabuya set the tone for a morning filled with praise and thanksgiving. The gathering reminded everyone of the beauty of community โ€” being strengthened by shared faith and genuine friendships.

The highlight of the morning came from the Dosdos couple, couple sharers from the Cebu Southwest Chapter โ€” Mr. Butch, an Insurance Agent and Mrs. Cathy, a Retired Banker โ€” who reflected on their 22 years of service and journey in the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP). Centering on their theme โ€œPray, Trust, and Surrender,โ€ they inspired everyone with a testimony of resilience and unwavering trust in the Lord. Their heartfelt sharing reminded the participants that true peace comes when one fully yields to Godโ€™s plan and timing.

Roger Limosneroโ€™s Scripture Response deepened this reflection, drawing insights from the Word that emphasized the power of prayer and surrender in strengthening oneโ€™s faith. His message echoed beautifully with the coupleโ€™s theme, leaving everyone encouraged and uplifted.

Adding to the joy of the gathering, two first-time breakfasters joined the fellowship, warmly welcomed by the community. Their presence completed the spirit of togetherness that defined the morning โ€” a reminder that every new face represents another life touched by Godโ€™s love and grace.

Following the breakfast, the assembly continued with a vibrant Praise and Worship led by Worship Leader Engr. Norman del Mar, anchored on the theme โ€œGratitude and Thanksgiving.โ€ The hall resonated with songs of praise as members lifted their hearts in joyful worship, expressing deep gratitude for Godโ€™s faithfulness and blessings. The atmosphere was one of unity, renewal, and praise โ€” the perfect culmination of a morning filled with Godโ€™s grace.

The morningโ€™s themes โ€” Pray, Trust, and Surrender paired with Gratitude and Thanksgiving โ€” reminded everyone that faith grows deeper when lived in community and anchored in devotion. Indeed, the Mandaue East Mission continues its faithful call to bring Christ to the marketplace and make Him known through love, service, and integrity.

When Love Became the Greatest Relief โ™ฅ๏ธ

When the 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck Bogo last September 30, fear and uncertainty filled our hearts. Homes were damaged, water became scarce, and many of us were left wondering how to start again. But even in our darkest days, Godโ€™s light shone through the kindness of others.

On October 7, 2025, we, members of BCBP Bogo received relief goods from our brothers and sisters from BCBP Cebu North, BCBP Ormoc South, and BCBP Bulacan Central, Each chapter sent 60 pieces of 5-gallon water and 120 packs of 5 kilos of rice, enough to fill not just our needs, but also our hearts. The Liloan Outreach thru Security Bank also extended their generous help, reminding us that love and compassion is the purest form of service.

As the trucks arrived and the relief goods were handed out, I couldnโ€™t help but feel emotional. The smiles, the hugs, and the comforting words from fellow BCBP members reminded me that true brotherhood goes beyond material things. It wasnโ€™t about the rice or the water, it was about the love and concern that came with them.

That day, hope was restored. We saw compassion in action, faith in motion, and love made visible.
The earthquake may have shaken our homes, but it strengthened our bond as one BCBP family. Truly, Godโ€™s love is best seen in how His people care for one another. For that, our hearts are forever grateful.
