Spectacular dances like Tinikling, Flamenco, Bharatanatyam, Tango, and Irish Stepdance demonstrate how movement can communicate meaning, preserve culture, and inspire others across generations.
In the same way, Youth Terpsichore: Called to Listen, Chosen to Shine reminds us that dance is more than performanceโit is a response to God's call. Inspired by the Archdiocese's theme of a Listening Church, this celebration encourages young people to listen attentively to God's voice, to one another, and to the needs of our communities. As every dance begins by following rhythm and direction, every journey begins by listening with an open heart. Through talents and unity, the youth are chosen to shine, using dance as a joyful expression of faith, service, and hope that reflects Christ's light to the world.
