ENVIRONMENTAL WARRIORS IN ACTION: SAKA AT NEYLS 2026
We are beaming with pride as we celebrate our Samahan ng mga Kabataang Agrikulturista (SAKA) representatives, Quia P. Estampador and Mark Kian G. Ramirez, for their outstanding participation in the First National Environmental Youth Leadersโ Summit (NEYLS) 2026 held last April 22-24 at Beatriz Rafaela Beach Resort in Balud, Masbate with the powerful theme: "Diving into Marine Life Conservation: Empowering Youth for Ocean Stewardship."
This summit was a vibrant journey of growth and advocacy. Our representatives fully immersed themselves in the program, learning from inspiring plenary speakers, engaging in collaborative workshops, and strengthening their bond through team-building activities. They also took direct action for the ocean, participating in a meaningful Nature Encounter, Sea ranching, coastal clean-up, information and education campaigns, and a bakawan (mangrove) planting initiative to protect our coastal ecosystems.
A heartfelt congratulations to Quia P. Estampadorfor bringing home 2nd Place in the Extemporaneous Speech Competition! Her articulate expression, critical thinking, and compelling delivery have truly shone a light on the importance of marine conservation and youth empowerment.
To Quia and Kian, thank you for carrying our banner with pride. Your dedication serves as a reminder that we are not just the leaders of tomorrow but also the changemakers of today.
