UHF Community We are a caring community of individuals who have been assisted by Unang Hakbang Foundation Inc. and We grow children.

We help children on the streets and in very poor communities nurture their ability to expand their life options and create their own future. Through its educational assistance program, Aral Kalinga, UHF provides tutorial assistance in reading, writing and math to public elementary school children at-­‐risk of dropping out and help for out-­‐of-­‐school children and youth in obtaining their element

To develop in children a critical attitude, confidence in their abilities and an attitude of caring, we provide opportunities for testing their capabilities and reaching out to others in Buhay Kalinga, a formation program. We encourage volunteerism among the children and develop peer tutors and child rights advocates.
