The VRPMC Postgraduate Interns – Batch Silakbo and Vincere, currently rotating in the Department of Surgery, proudly participated in the Medical Mission Free Tuli Program of the Marikina City LGU, spearheaded by our very own Dr. George Robert Uyquiengco and in collaboration with ENT specialist Dr. Mariano.

In partnership with the Marikina City Local Government Unit and Mayor Maan Teodoro, the activity was held on May 12 and 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Marikina Convention Center. The program provided free circumcision services (tuli) for Marikina boys aged 12 years old and above.

Through initiatives such as this, the VRPMC Postgraduate Interns remain committed to supporting community-centered programs that promote child health and surgical care, bringing quality healthcare closer to the people.

Bridging the gap between clinical care and community health. 🩺✨

Our Post-Graduate Interns recently conducted a pediatric community visit under the guidance of Dr. Coronel, and accompanied by our Pedia Residents, Dr. Magistrado and Dr. Joson.

Engaging with our young patients in their own environment serves as a powerful reminder of why we chose this path: to provide accessible, compassionate care to every child.

Grateful for the mentorship and the warm welcome from the community!
