The JRU Central Student Council proudly announces that Project LAAC: Legal Aid and Awareness Caravan has been recognized as a Luzon Finalist in the Peace Category of the Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards (TOUSA) 2026: Recognizing the Changemakers of Tomorrow.

This recognition affirms our commitment to fostering a culture of peace, justice, and human rights through youth-led initiatives that empower and educate the Rizalian community. Through Project LAAC, we sought to bridge the gap between legal awareness and accessible information by tackling vital issues such as the Safe Spaces Act, Violence Against Women and Children, and Human Rights.

As we advance to the next stage of the selection process, we dedicate this milestone to every Rizalian who believes that informed communities create lasting change.

May this achievement inspire more young people to become advocates of justice, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
