"WHAT IF?" 🇵🇭🏀

Could the 2002 Busan Asian Games squad be the most star-studded, powerhouse lineup the PBA ever assembled?

With the longest and most intensive preparation in history, the entire PBA united to build an absolute dream team at the peak of their powers. Led by a brilliant management and coaching circle, here is the legendary crew that carried the hopes of a basketball-crazy nation:

📋 Team Management & Coaching Staff:
Team Manager: Mr. Elmer Yanga †
Head Coach: Mr. Jong Uichico
Assistant Coaches & Staff: Allan Caidic, Binky Favis, Eric Altamirano, Boycie Zamar, Beaujing Acot, Nash Racela, Juno Sauler, and JP Pacheco.

🏀 The Powerhouse Roster:
🔥 Noy Castillo, Olsen Racela, Dondon Hontiveros, Dennis Espino, Mick Pennisi, Eric Menk, Danny Ildefonso, Andy Seigle, Jeffrey Cariaso, Rudy Hatfield, Asi Taulava, and Kenneth Duremdes.

Despite the historic buildup and sheer talent, Team Pilipinas ultimately took home a heartbreaking 4th-place finish. Who could ever forget that devastating, buzzer-beating semifinal match against South Korea? 💔

Though the "Korean Curse" denied them a medal, this legendary squad proved they had the heart of true champions and cemented their place in modern Philippine basketball history.

What are your favorite memories of this 2002 powerhouse team? 👇🗣️
