The Official page of Mandaluyong High School - Supreme Student Government. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Mandaluyong High School in Brgy.

Poblacion, Mandaluyong City, is the official student representative body of the Tiger City's pioneer secondary school. As such, it represents the interests of MHSians within and outside the institution. As the autonomous, unified, and the highest democratic representative of the student body in the school, the SSLG is composed of members elected amongst the student body, upholding and adhering with the Mission Statement of Department of Education "to protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education" where "students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment." It is also mandated to organize and direct campaigns and activities to promote the ideals, principles, thrusts, and objectives of the SSLG, Mandaluyong High School, and Department of Education. The SSLG promulgate and adopt the Constitution and By-Laws of Supreme Secondary Learner Government that shall advance, implement, and maintain our goals and aspirations, embody the ideals and principles of freedom, equality, justice and democracy, and promote the welfare of all students and academic standards of our Alma Mater. The official page of Mandaluyong High School's Supreme Secondary Learner Government serves as the central social media bulletin board of the student body for providing announcements, updates, agenda, platforms, and accomplishments of SSLG. A highlight of the celebration was the 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, where student leaders took on the roles of local legislators and experienced the legislative process firsthand. Among the participants was our very own 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐀. 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐝, 𝐌𝐇𝐒 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐃𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 served as 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐣𝐢𝐥𝐨

This activity strengthens civic awareness and leadership among the youth, providing student leaders with a meaningful opportunity to understand local governance, engage in the legislative process, and appreciate the responsibilities of public service.

The seminar proper was led by 𝗝𝗢𝟭 𝗔𝘅𝗹 𝗗. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻, who discussed proper 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. This was followed by 𝗝𝗢𝟭 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗣. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗮𝗱𝗮 and 𝗝𝗢𝟭 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗙. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗝𝗿., who facilitated and demonstrated 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗼-𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, with a focus on basic self-defense techniques. Meanwhile, 𝗝𝗢𝟭 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗜. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 served as the 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀.

The project aims to equip 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 with essential knowledge and 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 to promote 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and a 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🇵🇭

𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, ating ginugunita ang 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 upang parangalan ang mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng sakripisyo, tapang, at buhay para sa ating minamahal na bayan. Ang kanilang pagmamahal sa bayan at mga ipinaglaban nilang adhikain para sa kalayaan ay patuloy na nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino.

Bilang kabataan, maaari nating isabuhay ang kanilang kabayanihan sa sarili nating paraan—𝐬𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐰𝐚, 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚. ☀️

Sa paggunita sa araw na ito, nawa'y hindi lamang natin alalahanin ang ating mga bayani, kundi pahalagahan din ang kanilang mga sakripisyo at gawing inspirasyon ang kanilang pagmamahal sa bayan upang maipagpatuloy natin ang kanilang nasimulan.

"𝘿𝙪𝙘𝙠, 𝘾𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙." We often hear this phrase whenever we are reminded about earthquake safety. But beyond these basic steps, what else do we need to know before, during, and after a quake? 👀🤷🏻

Earthquakes happen every day around the world. It can happen without a warning. As Filipinos who are living in a country located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, it's important for us to know what to do when an unexpected earthquake strikes.🌍🛘

Being prepared and alert isn’t just something we can ignore.
—it is the 𝗸𝗲𝘆 to knowing how to stay calm, respond, and keeping ourselves and those around us safe.
