Rotary Club of Greater Mandaluyong was presented with its charter documents on May 5, 2011 as one of the newest rotary clubs in Zone 8, District 3800 of Rotary International. Among its past projects are: donation of medicines to several public and general hospitals nationwide, including the National Kidney and Transplant Institute; distribution of 3,000 textbooks for public and private schools in

Mandaluyong City, Bicol, Cagayan Valley, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Romblon, Davao, and other educational institutions in the Philippines; deworming caravan for children and residents of Mandaluyong City; eye care clinic; surgical medical mission with a foreign medical team; calamity relief operations; and a peace forum with His Excellency L**h Walesa of Poland. RC Greater Mandaluyong's community-based livelihood program known as “Dyario Bags” has been awarded the "Significant Achievement Award" from Rotary International.
