Your Illustrated Diaries โENIKKIโ are Invited.
Introduce your daily life to other children in Asia.
Express yourself in an Illustrated Diary.
This event is designed to provide an opportunity for children worldwide to understand
Asian peopleโs lives through illustrated diaries.
We will invite children from 24 different countries and regions in Asia to draw their illustrated diaries
under the theme of โHere is my Lifeโ.
Why donโt you participate in this event to let friends in Asia know about your life and culture through your three-page illustrated diaries?
Entry Requirements
Each entry should consist of three pages. Each page should contain a picture and a short essay (in English) describing an event of your daily life (use paint, crayons, or other materials on drawing paper).
Format
A4-size (297mm long x 210mm wide) page with margins on all sides, the picture or drawing on the top (two-thirds of the page), and the essay beneath (one third of the page). The picture and the essay should be on the front side of the page. Please do not use the back side.
Eligibility
Children aged 6-12 at the time of entry
Theme
"Here is my life.โ Describe any aspects of your daily life, such as family, friends, school life, customs, festivals, town, and people.
Entry Period
August 16 โ November 30, 2026
Announcement of winners
Philippines: The names of the award winners will be announced in December, 2026.
Japan: The names of the award winners will be announced in May, 2027
Awards
Grand Prix Award: 1 winner
As part of the prize package, the Grand Prix winner will be invited to the Award Ceremony and a cultural exchange program in Japan.
Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee Award: 1 winner
Asian Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations Award: 1 winner
National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan Award: 1 winner.
