🥖 Tinapay ng Buhay: Kay Bosco Iaalay ❤️

Afternoon activity

A meaningful day of learning, creativity, and gratitude as our beneficiaries proudly presented the different kinds of bread they created through their baking training. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The activity included a taste test, showcasing not only the delicious results of their hard work but also the skills and confidence they gained throughout the program.

Certificates of Completion were awarded to our dedicated beneficiaries in recognition of their commitment, perseverance, and willingness to learn. 🎓👏

A special certificate of appreciation was also given to Teacher Edith, whose generous sharing of her time, knowledge, and talent in baking continues to inspire and empower our beneficiaries. ❤️

This project reminds us that when we share our skills, time, and passion, we create opportunities that can lead to a better and more hopeful future.

TINAPAY NG BUHAY, KAY BOSCO IAALAY ❤️🍞

Today, September 26, 2026 | Don Bosco Technical College – Mandaluyong City

A meaningful day of learning, sharing, and creating hope as the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North (RCMN), under the leadership of High Impact President John Rodrigo , continues its commitment to Service Above Self.

In partnership with Don Bosco Technical College – Mandaluyong City and the Association of Salesian Cooperators – Mandaluyong Center, we held a one-day baking session for 25 beneficiaries from PINARDI Youth Migrant.

This project is not simply about learning how to bake. It is about giving young people a skill they can carry with them, a confidence they can build on, and an opportunity they can turn into a better tomorrow. 🍞✨

We are deeply grateful to Teacher Edith Domingo, Assessor Trainer who has journeyed with us from Year 1 and continues to be part of this project now on its 4th year. Her unwavering dedication and willingness to share her knowledge have helped make this initiative a continuing journey of empowerment and hope.

Under the leadership of HIP President John Rodrigo, RCMN remains committed to building partnerships that create opportunities and touch lives. Together with our partners, we believe that when we teach a skill, we nurture confidence; when we create opportunities, we open doors; and when we serve with compassion, we help build brighter futures. ❤️

May every bread baked today remind our young beneficiaries that they have the ability to learn, the courage to dream, and the potential to create a better future for themselves and their families.

TULONG, AGAPAY, PAG-ASA ❤️🤝

On September 13, 2026, more than 300 families were affected by flooding at the Bacao Evacuation Center in Paniqui, Tarlac received much-needed assistance and, most importantly, a reminder that they are not alone.

Through the initiative of Major Sponsor Rtn. Rea Aganon and PE Gerry Riñoza Bautista and the support of the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North, Barangay Officials, and the Rotary Club of Paniqui, this community service project became a meaningful expression of compassion, unity, and bayanihan.

Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who shared their time, resources, and effort to make this outreach possible. 🙏❤️

In times of adversity, tulong becomes agapay, and agapay becomes pag-asa.

💙💛ONE TABLE. ONE TEAM. ONE PURPOSE. 💙💛

The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North held its 5th Regular Meeting on September 8, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Tommy’s Cafe and Restaurant, bringing Rotarians together for meaningful fellowship, focused discussions, and continued commitment to service.

Presided over by President Jose Roland L. Rodrigo Jr., the meeting opened with an invocation led by Rtn. Socky, followed by the Rotary Pledge and Four-Way Test led by Treasurer Nancy. The evening’s agenda focused on Oktoberfest tickets, BYD raffle tickets, and other important club matters, keeping RCMN aligned with its upcoming activities and fundraising initiatives.

In attendance were PP Alex, PP Rick, AG Angelo, IPP Lhen, Pres. John, Treas. Nancy, Sec. Julia, Rtn. Socky, Rtn. Lisa, Rtn. Cathy S. and Rtn. Zojar. Their presence reflected the strength of RCMN’s fellowship and the collective spirit that continues to move the club forward.

✨ But the work doesn’t stop when the meeting ends. Every ticket sold, every idea shared, and every Rotarian who shows up becomes part of something bigger. RCMN invites its members, partners, and friends to stay engaged, support our upcoming activities, and join us in turning every opportunity into meaningful service. ✨ Passing the Torch, Continuing the Legacy! ✨

The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North successfully celebrated its 43rd Handover and Induction Ceremonies!

It was a night of gratitude, transition, and renewal as we honored the leadership of Immediate Past President Rosalyn "Lhen" S. Manlangit and officially welcomed High Impact President Jose Roland "John" L. Rodrigo Jr. along with our incoming Club Officers, Directors, and vibrant new members.

Event Highlights:

Holy Mass: Commencing the evening with prayers for guidance and unity.

Valedictory Address: IPP Rosalyn "Lhen" S. Manlangit reflected on a year of impactful service and recognized outstanding contributions with the Leadership Award.

Turnover & Induction: District Governor Celso M. Montalla led the induction of our new officers, directors, and fresh members, while IPP Rosalyn "Lhen" S. Manlangit officially handed over the gavel to HIP Jose Roland Rodrigo Jr.

Inaugural Address: HIP Jose Roland "John" L. Rodrigo Jr. shared his inspiring vision for the club as we step forward to Create Lasting Impact in our community.

Last August 8, 2026, we conducted our Serbisyong Eye Check-Up, one of our 6-in-1 Service Projects, serving the residents of Barangka Itaas in partnership with UNTOGINS, one of our valued service project partners.

After the eye examinations, we returned today September 6,2026 to distribute free eyeglasses to our beneficiaries—giving them clearer vision and renewed confidence in their everyday lives.

Leading this meaningful activity were HIP Pres. John Rodrigo and PE Gerry Riñoza Bautista together with some members of the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong North, who once again came together to bring this service closer to the community.

We are also grateful for the support of Kagawad Mariel, SK Chairman Gerome, and Dr. J of UNTOGINS for helping make this initiative possible.

A pair of eyeglasses may be simple, but the gift of clear vision can open doors to better learning, greater opportunities, and a brighter future.
