The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong proudly participated in the Kick-off High Impact District 3800 7-in-1 Project held on May 30, 2026,
At Brgy. Sto Nino, Tanay, Rizal. A meaningful initiative focused on creating sustainable and lasting community development through service.

Representing the club was President Elect Arleen T. Reyes, who joined fellow Rotarians and community leaders in advancing programs aligned with Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus — including basic education and literacy, disease prevention and treatment, water sanitation and hygiene, maternal and child health, community economic development, environmental sustainability, and peacebuilding and conflict prevention.

The project, bannered with the theme “Together, we build stronger communities,” showcased unity, collaboration, and commitment to service above self. Through active participation and support, the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong reaffirmed its dedication to community empowerment and impactful humanitarian service.

President Elect Arleen T. Reyes’ presence highlighted the club’s continued commitment to fostering partnerships and supporting initiatives that bring hope, progress, and positive change to communities in need.

District 3800 Legislation Meeting

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong actively participated in the District Legislation Meeting of Rotary District 3800 held on May 29, 2026, at the Kalayaan Hall, Club Filipino, with Past President Joan Marie Tejada serving as Primary Elector and Charter President Hermie Carino as Alternate Elector.

During this historic meeting, the Electors approved significant measures, including the expansion of the District Calamity Fund to cover training and capacity-building for emergency response initiatives. They also voted to change the selection process for the District Governor—from a District Nominating Committee to individual club balloting—thereby strengthening transparency, inclusivity, and participation among member clubs.

These decisions mark a meaningful step forward in promoting democratic processes and empowering clubs to have a more direct voice in district leadership and direction.

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong remains committed to actively supporting these initiatives and upholding Rotary’s core values of service, integrity, and leadership.

Celebrating Two Years of Service: Rotaract Club of Highway Hills 2nd Charter Anniversary, Handover, and Induction Ceremonies

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong proudly supported the 2nd Charter Anniversary, Handover, and Induction Ceremonies of its daughter club, the Rotaract Club of Highway Hills, held on May 16, 2026 at Dunkin’ United, Sheridan, Mandaluyong City.

The meaningful celebration marked two years of dedicated service, leadership, and fellowship by the Rotaract Club of Highway Hills. The event gathered Rotarians, Rotaractors, district leaders, and esteemed guests in a spirit of camaraderie as the club reflected on its milestones and ushered in a new set of leaders.

The program formally opened with the call to order by Good President Caryl Yca Dante, followed by the invocation, the singing of the National Anthem and Rotary Hymn, and the recitation of the Four-Way Test. SPC Christine Joy Aguilar acknowledged the distinguished attendees, paving the way for the welcome remarks delivered by Marvin Mandolado.
Highlights of the program included special messages from Charter President Hermie Carino, District Rotaract Chair Marie Sicujan, District Rotaract Representative Vince, and fellow Rotaract leaders. These were followed by the introduction and valedictory address of the outgoing president and the symbolic handover ceremony. The incoming officers were presented and formally inducted by the District Rotaract Representative, followed by the induction of new members—signifying the club’s continued growth and commitment to service.

Together with CP Hermie, representing the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong, Past President Joan Tejada and New Generations Director Neo Reyes delivered inspiring messages reaffirming the sponsoring club’s unwavering support and guidance to its Rotaract counterpart. Also in attendance was President Nominee Jolly Ponciano, further demonstrating the club’s strong commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

The ceremony culminated with the inaugural address of the incoming president, High Impact President Chelsea Calibuso, who shared a compelling vision for the club’s future. This was followed by the District Rotaract Representative’s message and the closing remarks.

The celebration concluded with fellowship among participants, strengthening the bond between Rotarians and Rotaractors and reinforcing their shared mission of “Service Above Self.”

A Lasting Mark of Service: Rotary’s Legacy in Addition Hills Mandaluyong

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong, through the generous support of its sister club, the Rotary Club of Metro Santa Rosa, proudly established a Rotary Marker at Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City—symbolizing service, partnership, and an enduring commitment to community development. The marker was formally handed over to Tiger Mandaluyong on November 3, 2025, with installation successfully completed in May 2026.

Barangay Addition Hills has been a steadfast partner in service since the inception of the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong in 2023. Through this strong collaboration, numerous impactful service projects have been carried out, addressing the diverse needs of the community and uplifting the lives of its residents. The shared vision and dedication between the Club and the barangay have nurtured a meaningful alliance grounded in Rotary’s guiding principle of Service Above Self.

The Rotary Marker carries profound significance. More than a physical structure, it stands as a visible testament to Rotary’s presence and unwavering commitment to community development. It symbolizes the enduring partnership between Rotary and the local government unit, marking Barangay Addition Hills as a hub of active service, goodwill, and transformative initiatives. The marker also serves as an inspiration for community members and future partners to continue advancing programs that promote health, education, and overall well-being.

Furthermore, the Rotary Marker represents continuity—an enduring reminder that service is not a one-time effort but a sustained mission aimed at creating lasting change. It reinforces Rotary’s identity within the community and affirms its pledge to remain an engaged and reliable partner in addressing local needs.

In line with the incoming Rotary Year Presidential Theme, “Create Lasting Impact,” the Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong held its Pre-Strategic Planning cm 27th Regular Meeting on May 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Dunkin United Sheridan (Pioneer), Mandaluyong City.

The activity focused on assessing the club’s current health and setting strategic directions for the year ahead through the Post Club Health Check, Membership Satisfaction Survey, and discussions on proposed plans and programs across the major service avenues. Alignment with the District 3800 Three-Year Strategic Plan was also emphasized to ensure coherence with district and Rotary International goals.

The planning activity was graced by Incoming Assistant Governor Ma. The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong held a Post‑Service Project Meeting at Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City to review the implementation of the Wheel and Cane to Will Project and discuss upcoming outdoor initiatives of the Club.

Members reflected on the positive impact of providing wheelchairs and canes to senior citizens and persons with mobility challenges, noting valuable insights for improving future service delivery. The meeting also laid plans for outdoor wellness, environmental, and community engagement activities in coordination with barangay officials.

Rotary District 3800 successfully held its Club Leadership Learning Seminar (CLLS) 2026 on May 7, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, spearheaded by District Governor-Elect Celso Montalla and graciously hosted by the Rotary Club of Valenzuela East. Anchored on the theme “Ignite the Flame: Create Lasting Impact,” the seminar gathered incoming and current club leaders for a full day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

The Rotary Club of Tiger Mandaluyong was proudly represented by its leaders—Charter President Hermenegildo Carino, Immediate Past President Joan Marie C. Tejada, and President-Elect Arleen T. Reyes—demonstrating the club’s strong commitment to leadership excellence and continuity.

The program featured meaningful plenary sessions, learning assemblies, and breakout discussions that focused on strengthening clubs, fostering growth, embracing innovation, and advancing Rotary’s promise of lasting community impact.
