The 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 celebrated Diabetes Awareness by promoting education and prevention through a free diabetes screening and an informative lay lecture. Together, we empowered our community with the knowledge to recognize risk factors, adopt healthier lifestyles, and take proactive steps toward better health. In celebration of Diabetes Awareness and Nutrition Month, the 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 conducted glucose, cholesterol, uric acid screening, and Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) assessments to support community health and wellness. 🩵

The celebration featured a Senior Citizens Forum on Diabetes, providing valuable health education and raising awareness on diabetes prevention, management, and healthy living among the elderly community. 🩵

𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 conducted another successful Free Screening Program at Zone Medical & Intervention Hospital Inc., Ligao City (Level 2 Hospital).

The activity provided free RBS, ECG, and PAD screenings, along with three lay forum lectures covering Diabetic Diet, Colon Cancer Awareness, and an Overview of Diabetes and Peripheral Arterial Disease.

Through continuous community health initiatives, we remain committed to promoting prevention, education, and better healthcare for all. 🩵

The 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 led by chapter president Dr. Nilda Manalo, celebrated the Diabetes Awareness Week with a meaningful community outreach at Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan.

The activity featured a layman’s lecture, Zumba session, free FBS, cholesterol, uric acid, UACR, BP, and BMI screenings, and free medical consultations to encourage diabetes prevention, early detection, and healthier lifestyles.

Through education and service, we continue to support communities in the fight against diabetes. 🩵

In celebration of Diabetes and Disability Awareness Month, the 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 conducted a Diabetes and Hypertension Awareness activity at Brgy. Managpi, Calapan City, along with a podcast with chapter president Dr. Teresita Bolor on Diabetes and Disability to promote education, prevention, and inclusive healthcare. 🩵
