Courtesy Visit to the LSM Rector

The Sons of Lourdes Alumni Association continues to strengthen its partnership with Lourdes School of Mandaluyong through a courtesy visit to our School Rector, Rev. Fr. Cesar Acuin, OFMCap.

Representing the alumni association were SOL Co-Founder Rene Gacuma and SOL Batch '78 representative Vic Buencamino, who reaffirmed the alumni's commitment to supporting the school's mission and future development.

During the visit, the association formally presented its financial support for Project San Damiano, a continuing initiative dedicated to enhancing the school's facilities and providing a better learning environment for present and future Lourdesians.

This meaningful engagement reflects the enduring spirit of service and gratitude that unites generations of SOL alumni. Together, we remain committed to giving back to our alma mater and ensuring that Lourdes School continues to thrive for years to come.

Courtesy Visit | SOL Homecoming 2027

The SOL 2002 Host Batch, together with our Golden Jubilarians of SOL 1977, paid a courtesy visit to our LSM School Rector, Rev. Fr. Cesar Acuin, OFMCap, to formally present the plans for the Sons of Lourdes Alumni Homecoming on February 27, 2027.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to turn over the proceeds from our alumni fundraising initiatives in support of Project San Damiano, reaffirming our commitment to giving back to our beloved alma mater.

Our sincere appreciation to SOL Edmundo Lopez for representing the SOL '77 Golden Jubilarians and for their unwavering support of this meaningful cause.

As we prepare for Homecoming 2027, we invite all Lourdesians to continue supporting our upcoming fundraising activities. Every contribution helps strengthen Project San Damiano and ensures that our homecoming becomes more than a celebration—it becomes a lasting legacy for future generations.

"It's time to give back to the school we loved so well."

Home is where our Lourdesian journey began. It is where lifelong friendships were formed, values were instilled, and memories were made. Today, our beloved Lourdes School of Mandaluyong (LSM) invites every SOL alumnus to come home and be part of its future.

Led by our School Rector, Rev. Fr. Cesar Acuin, Project San Damiano calls on all alumni—whether individually, as families, or as batches—to support initiatives that will strengthen faculty and personnel development, improve school facilities, enhance student programs, and provide scholarships.

Your generosity, no matter the amount, will help improve the services and educational programs of our beloved LSM Lourdes School of Mandaluyong for generations to come.

To pledge your support or make a donation, please coordinate with the Rector's Secretary's Office through Ms. Jeanet Pescasio or visit the LSM Accounting Office. Official receipts will be issued, and donors will receive a year-end report on how their contributions were used.

The journey to SOL Alumni Homecoming 2027 has officially begun!

The Organizing Committee from SOL Batch '02, together with our Co-Celebrant Batches '77, '87, and '92, met with SOL Alumni Association Chairman Glenn Warren Liamzon for our initial planning session.

The meeting focused on preparations for the February 27, 2027 SOL Alumni Homecoming, including exciting activities, fundraising initiatives, and ways to make this a memorable homecoming for every Son of Lourdes.

This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to share what's in store!
