Last Combined Midweek reminded us that empathy is more than simply knowing what someone is going through. It is choosing to enter their world, listen to their heart, and remind them that they don't have to face it alone.

Through ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ณ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜, ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐˜, and ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ, we learned that sometimes, connection must come before correction. And just as Jesus understands our weaknesses, we are called to extend that same compassion to othersโ€”with both truth and love. ๐Ÿค

When we think about the cross, we know it means salvation. But sometimes, we forget what happened before we received it.
