One of those dreamers is Alexandra Krishna Oriño.
A proud daughter of Libmanan, Camarines Sur, and a familiar face who also represented Albay on the national stage, Oriño has become a source of pride not only for her hometowns but for the entire Bicol Region. From local pageants to the international spotlight, her journey embodies the unwavering spirit, quiet strength, and enduring grace that Bicolanos proudly carry wherever they go.

On July 25, 2026, the 21-year-old Filipina made history after winning the coveted Miss Tourism International 2026 title during the 7th Miss & Miss Teen Tourism International Pageant held in Sri Lanka.
Her victory was nothing short of remarkable.
Beyond claiming the crown, she swept several prestigious awards, including Best in Evening Gown, Best in Forum, Best in Production Number, and the distinguished Velona Venus Queen Award. Representing the Philippines before an international audience, Oriño carried not only the country's flag but also the hopes of every Bicolano who watched one of their own shine on the world stage.
Yet the applause only tells the ending.
