Dear Fellow Accounting Teachers:
On behalf of the board of trustees of the National Association of CPAs in Education for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 13th Midyear Accounting Teachers International Conference & ASEAN Accounting Education Workgroup Meeting, which will be held on October 27 to 29, 2026 in Bandung, Indonesia.

This international gathering brings together accounting educators, academic leaders, researchers, and other stakeholders from across the region to exchange knowledge, share innovative teaching practices, discuss emerging developments in accounting education, and strengthen professional and academic collaboration.

Registration Fee
13th MYATIC and AAEW Meeting Registration Fee – MIGS P20,000
13th MYATIC and AAEW Meeting Registration Fee – Non-MIGS P20,600

Inclusions:
• UTC D**o Hotel Bandung, Indonesia - 4 nights hotel accommodation from October 26, 2026 (2pm Check in) until October 30, 2026 (12nn Check out.) with breakfast. (The room accommodation is 2 persons sharing)
• Conference kit and T-shirt
• Conference AM/PM coffee and snack and lunch meals
• Fellowship night dinner

For participants who do not require hotel accommodation, the registration fee is P15,000 for MIGS participants and P15,600 for Non-MIGS participants.

Additional Fees (Optional):
• Solo room accommodation P6,000/person
• Conference Tour on October 30, 2026 P2,000/person
• Airport Transfers TBA

The registration fee covers the inclusions indicated above. Participants are responsible for their own airfare, travel documents, insurance, and other personal expenses unless otherwise specified.

Technical Session 2: Curriculum Mapping Workshop

As part of the 2026 NACPAE Metro Manila Regional Forum, participants gained valuable insights from Dr. Joy S. Rabo, Chair of the CHED Technical Panel for Accountancy, through her lecture during the CHED curriculum mapping workshop.

Highlighting the importance of curriculum alignment, outcomes-based education, and responsiveness to the evolving landscape of the accountancy profession, Dr. Rabo guided educators in strengthening academic programs to ensure relevance, quality, and compliance with current standards.

A meaningful learning session that reinforces NACPAE’s commitment to advancing excellence in accountancy education.

Technical Session 1: Navigating the Revised CPALE Table of Specifications

A meaningful highlight was the presentation of Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, PRC Board of Accountancy Member, who shared valuable insights on the CPA Licensure Examination, including the covered courses, the Table of Specifications, and recommendations on course mapping to align accounting curricula with the revised TOS effective October 2029.

Her discussion provided guidance to accounting educators in enhancing curriculum design and strengthening CPALE preparedness, ensuring that accounting programs remain responsive to the evolving demands of the profession and the changing landscape of accountancy education.

Opening Ceremonies

The event officially commenced with welcome remarks from Prof. Jayvee Ann M. Valdez, Acting Dean of the College of Business Administration, Adamson University, and Prof. Dyan Nicole M. Francisco, NACPAE President, who warmly welcomed educators, administrators, and stakeholders from across the region and throughout the Philippines. Their messages highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and shared commitment to advancing excellence in accountancy education.
