The best way to end July is having a meaningful Womenโ€™s Health Forum, as the Rotary Club of Greenfield District (RCGD) participated in District 3800โ€™s celebration of Maternal and Child Care Month, held last July 31, 2026, at the Ynares Center, Pasig City.

The event was led by High Impact Governor Celso Montalla and Lady Meg Montalla, together with other District 3800 leaders, in partnership with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, UNILAB and Ynares Sports Arena, aimed to empower women and their families through greater awareness of womenโ€™s health, preventive care, and the importance of early detection.

Participants also benefited from FREE essential health screenings, including:
๐ŸŒธ Ultrasound screening for patients with myoma and ovarian cysts who are eligible for surgery
๐ŸŽ€ Breast ultrasound
๐Ÿฉธ Hemoglobin and hematocrit testing
๐Ÿฆด Bone scan
โค๏ธ Cholesterol screening
๐Ÿ’ง Uric acid testing
๐Ÿฌ Random blood sugar testing

The Rotary Club of Greenfield District was proudly represented by High Impact President Urk Acapulco.

๐ŸŽ‰ Starting the Rotary Year RIGHT! ๐ŸŽ‰

The Rotary Club of Greenfield District (RCGD) Officers proudly joined the ๐‘ฝ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฉ๐‘น๐‘จ๐‘ต๐‘ป ๐‘น๐‘ถ๐‘จ๐‘ซ๐‘บ๐‘ฏ๐‘ถ๐‘พ on July 25, 2026, for a full day of inspiring leadership training at the North Greenhills Clubhouse, San Juan City.

What better way to kick off the new Rotary Year than by empowering our incoming and current Club Leaders to become more dynamic, engaged, and effective in leading their clubs and making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.

The event brought together the 2026 Club Presidents, Presidents-elect, and Club Committee Chairpersons, alongside the dedicated District 3800 Officers, for a day filled with learning, collaboration, and renewed commitment to service.

The Rotary Club of Greenfield District prepared to usher in the New Rotary Year 2026-2027 by participating in District 3800's 7-in-1 Kick-off Project in Barangay Sto. Nino, Tanay, Rizal last May 2026.

The jampacked day was spearheaded by the District Leadership, under the guidance of no less than District 3800 Governor Celso Montalla. RCGD was proudly represented by its new High Impact President Urk Acplc (Ericson Acapulco).

The 7 projects conducted that day aimed to improve the lives of the community members of Brgy. Sto Nino, as guided by Rotary's 7 areas of focus:

1. Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention โ€“ interactions with the Dumagat people , including a self-defense workshop
2. Disease Prevention and Treatment โ€“ free medical and dental check-ups
3. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene โ€“ water filtration system
4. Maternal and Child Health โ€“ prenatal counseling, weighing and nutrition screening for young children
5. Basic Education and Literacy โ€“ repair of the daycare center
6. Community Economic Development โ€“ livelihood starter packs and a training on upland farming
7. Supporting the Environment โ€“ seedling planting of bamboo trees by the riverside for flood prevention

AN APPRECIATION POST:

As we close off RY 2025-2026, Rotary Club of Greenfield District would like to take time to appreciate and thank our dear Good President Sonia Lee.

Her hard work and passion has been a great inspiration in bringing our club together this year in being People of Action in the service of others. Her leadership brought hope to the Agta communities of Aurora, strengthened our commitment to The Rotary Foundation as a Paul Harris Fellow, and laid the foundation for Unite Fur Good - a project that reflects your vision of creating lasting impact through service.

Her compassion, dedication, and belief in making a difference have left a legacy that will continue to inspire our club for years to come.

For all that you have done, salamat at mahal ka namin , Pres Sonia! :)
