For families living near the dumpsite in Manila, healthcare can feel out of reach.

We sat down with Jen, a volunteer with Kalayaan Community Ministries, who opened up about how hard it is for families in her community to get the care they need. The clinic is far. The costs pile up. Check-ups get postponed, medicine gets skipped, and for many kids, seeing a doctor or dentist is a rare thing.

During our visit, we provided free medical outreach, together with blood pressure checks, medicines from the pharmacy table, and dental care for the little ones. 🩺🦷

We're so grateful for our partnership with KCM, who opened the door and welcomed us into this community. ♥️💙

Last July 25, 2026, our team returned to Redemptio Christian School for another free medical clinic for the families there. 🦷🩺💊

We keep coming back for a reason. Being a partner is not a one-time visit. It is showing up again and again until the faces become familiar, until we know families by name, until they walk in already trusting that we will be here. Not a single event, but a relationship built one Saturday at a time.

On our visit to CIW with the students of PLANETSHAKERS COLLEGE, we were reminded that behind these walls are women the world is quick to forget. But for a few hours, that changed. There was joy on a court no one expected, students and inmates praying side by side, conversations that broke down walls, and the quiet gift of simply showing up. ❤️‍🩹

Dignity shouldn't only visit on the days we do. One of the most basic ways we can honor these women is also one of the most overlooked: clean, reliable hygiene supplies, every single month.

We're back with our free medical outreach! 🦷🩺💊

Today, we welcome both new and familiar faces from our partner community here in Taytay, Rizal. Our medical and non-medical volunteers arrived early in the morning to set up and provide the healthcare every Filipino deserves.

It's wonderful what a Saturday can look like for some people. It's not just the ones who receive our help that feel seen and cared for, but also the volunteers who get to serve their community, one weekend at a time. 🤍

Some mornings just feel different. 🤍

We had the joy of welcoming guests from PLANETSHAKERS COLLEGE to spend a morning with the kids and families of Redemptio Christian School in Taytay, Rizal.

They played games. 🏀 They served snacks. 🍝 They knelt down to a child's eye level and made sure every single kid felt seen. Not one of them was in a rush. Language never became a barrier because warmth doesn't need translating. Neither does community.

Later, we took our guests on a tour of the school. They didn't just hear the history of this place; they heard the heart behind it. The staff and volunteers who keep showing up, year after year, for this community.

Community can also look like this. 🎉

No spotlight. No big production. Just a room full of people who showed up on a Tuesday, when nobody had to.

Kids were hanging off arms and shoulders, hugs that lasted a little too long, hands reaching out just to say I see you. Nobody was performing. Everybody was just… there. Present. Together. 🤍

That's the part that stays with you. Not the schedule, not the setup, but the people who made time in the middle of an ordinary week, simply because these faces were worth showing up for.

Thank you, PLANETSHAKERS COLLEGE ! 🤍💪🏽

This morning, our friends from Planetshakers College spent time with the families of Redemptio Christian School in Taytay, Rizal — running games, handing out packed meals, and making sure every child felt seen, celebrated, and supported. And not just the kids. The parents felt it too.

They also had the chance to walk through the school and hear its story: how one man's heart to help this community became something so much bigger than himself.

But this school was never built by the effort of one. It stands because of a community. The staff and volunteers who tirelessly pour out everything they have, and partners whose generosity to Favor Care keeps the doors open, the meals coming, and the hope alive. 🔥

To everyone who gave a morning, a meal, a prayer, or a gift: thank you. You are part of a better future for these kids. Here's to that future. One where every child in this community gets to dream as big as they were made to.
