Each of these tote bags is handcrafted by the women of the Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City. Every bag carries their skill, patience, and hope for a fresh start. When you buy one, the income goes directly back to them.

25,000 Meals. One Community. Immeasurable Hope. 🤍

Last week, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook Southern Philippines. Families in General Santos City have been living through the aftermath ever since.

Today, we are thankful to share that, thanks to our supporters and local partners, Favor Care has provided enough food supplies for 25,000 meals to families impacted by this disaster. These meals offer more than just nourishment. They bring a message: you are not forgotten. While we celebrate this achievement, the need remains significant. Many families still face uncertainty as they work to rebuild their lives.

Inside the Correctional Institution for Women, hands are busy. 🧵

Through Threads of Hope, Favor Care's livelihood program, the women are learning to create, to produce, and to earn. These tote bags aren't just crafts — every piece sold helps fund their journey back into society, giving them something real to hold on to long before they walk out those doors.

We recently partnered with Rapha International Christian Ministries for a clinic day in Antipolo, bringing health checks, dental care, and compassion to the children under their care.

From dental check-ups to one-on-one consultations, every moment was a reminder to each child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

7.8 EARTHQUAKE HITS GENERAL SANTOS CITY TODAY

Today, a powerful earthquake struck the General Santos City and Sarangani area in Southern Philippines, causing widespread fear, damage to homes and buildings, disruptions to power and communications, and reports of injuries and possible loss of life. Emergency responders are continuing to assess the full extent of the impact. (GMA Network⁠)

At this difficult time, let us come together in prayer for everyone affected.

Please pray for:
• The victims and their families
• Those who have been injured or displaced
• Rescue teams, medical personnel, and first responders
• Government and community leaders coordinating relief efforts
• Protection from further aftershocks and additional harm

For a year, Tantan kept his mouth closed every time he laughed.

Two small decaying teeth. That's all it took to make a child afraid to smile around his friends. His mom had been carrying that worry just as long. She knew. But dental care isn't something every family here can afford, and for theirs, there simply was no way.

When we held our free dental clinic in Antipolo, Tantan walked in with his head down. He walked out with those teeth fixed, and this school year, he goes back with nothing to hide. 💪🏼 No hesitation before a smile. 😃

The things we take for granted are someone else's answered prayer. 🤍
