We agree 100%, this is why GBF actively enjoins its partners from the Gokongwei Group to support the Filipino youth through education!

Senator Bam Aquino participated in one of GBF's Brigada Eskwela activities last week and he shared this message of gratitude to all volunteers of the Gokongwei Group who offered their time in helping prepare classrooms for the start of the school year.

Small acts put together can make a big difference.

As classes open for the new school year, 𝐆𝐁𝐅 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 continues its commitment to support educators through improved lesson materials, teacher capacity-building content, and stronger partnerships with DepEd SDOs.

For SY 2026–2027, 𝐆𝐁𝐅 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 brings new upgrades: learning materials for Grades 1–8 aligned with the DepEd three-term academic calendar, a more seamless platform experience, and a stronger teacher guide using various coaching techniques to support content mastery and pedagogy.

We also recently concluded the 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘚𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱, where 29 Math teachers and visual designers were trained to create engaging, DepEd-aligned lesson materials and teacher guides for the platform.

The GBF Class Builder team continues to onboard teachers of partner SDOs in Regions 1, CAR, NCR, 4A, 5, 11, and CARAGA Region. ✨

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. 💙💚

For the third consecutive year, GoTyme Bank and Gokongwei Brothers Foundation returned to San Antonio Elementary School in Parañaque for Brigada Eskwela!

Through 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, GoTyme Bank volunteers showed up once again to help prepare classrooms and learning spaces for another school year.

And because this is already their third year with the same school community, the work feels more personal. It is not just about cleaning, fixing, or preparing. It is about building a connection with a school and choosing to support it year after year.

That is the power of sustained volunteerism. It grows stronger when people keep coming back.

As part of Brigada Eskwela, employee-volunteers from Robinsons Land Corporation dedicated their time to help clean and prepare the classrooms of Jose Fabella Memorial School, creating a more welcoming learning environment for students ahead of the new school year.

For Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio of RLC, volunteerism is about recognizing that we are all part of a larger community and share a responsibility to support one another. She shared that RLC's commitment to championing Filipino excellence begins with investing in young learners and ensuring they feel supported as they pursue their education.

Through the GBF Juan Community for Education, we bring together Gokongwei Group business units, volunteers, and community partners to support schools and help create better learning environments for Filipino learners.

To add a personal touch to their Brigada Eskwela activity, Robinsons Land and Summit Hotels and Resorts Greenhills team wrapped armrests of student chairs to make them more colorful and lively!

Led by Ms. Mybelle Aragon-GoBio, President and CEO of Robinsons Land Corporation, and Ms. Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng, General Manager of the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation, volunteers swept floors, cleaned and painted the walls, sanded desks and wrapped armchairs, all in the name of love ❤️
