EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP✨

The San Isidro Student Council (SISCO) of Davao Oriental State University-San Isidro Campus successfully organized and conducted a two-day leadership training and workshop exercises program held on September 5-6. The event was centered around the theme “Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders: From Seeds of Knowledge to Forests of Influence,” aiming to enhance leadership capabilities among student leaders.

Members from our esteemed Justice League Department (JLD) were also part of the leadership training and workshop exercises, bringing their unique perspectives and skills to the enriching experience, and distinguished delegates from various student organizations participated in the event. Renowned speakers delivered erudite addresses, complemented by collaborative discussions and interactive activities that fostered teamwork, unity, and discerning analytical skills among the attendees.

Upon conclusion, participants exhibited heightened confidence and a reinforced commitment to leadership, embodying the event’s objective of nurturing influential leaders.

The SHINE Wason - KAPAKI Organization of DOrSU-San Isidro Campus, under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Roque Langcoy II, Chancellor of Satellite and Extension Campuses, and Sir Felipe K. Pagluntudan Jr.,MSCJ, BSC Program Head, successfully conducted a Basic First Aid Training program. This initiative was undertaken in collaboration with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), further solidifying the campus's commitment to community engagement and capacity building.

The training equipped participants with essential skills and knowledge in administering basic first aid, enhancing their ability to respond to emergencies and promote a safer community. The successful ex*****on of this program is a testament to the strong partnership between DOrSU-San Isidro Campus and the MDRRMO.
