Today, we joyfully concluded our Science Month 2025 Culmination with the theme:
“Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation.”

Students actively joined in various activities such as the Science Masters Quiz Bee, Science Poster Making, Science Relay Rush, Science Through Microscope, and the highlight, Ms. Scientist 2025.

We sincerely extend our deepest gratitude to our generous sponsors — SB Escalante, SB Lim, SB Andrino, SB Abanales, SB Robles, and our respected Municipal Mayor Mika Escalante — for not only sponsoring the prizes but also allocating for the materials used in all the science activities. 🙌

A heartfelt thanks as well to our ever-supportive School Head, Ma'aMariz G. Tuayon , for her full support, to all Quinnex Teachers and to the Science Department together with the YES-O headed bJennifer Llasos Despues and Jovelyn Noble for their time, effort, and dedication that brought this program to success.

Above all, we give thanks to the Lord Almighty for blessing us with good weather in the afternoon despite the gloomy morning, making it possible for everyone to enjoy and learn from the activities. 🌤️

Truly, science is alive in the hearts of every learner as we continue to harness the unknown and power the future with innovation.

🌿 Turning trash into treasure! ♻️

This beautiful vertical garden was proudly crafted by Quinnex YES-O Warriors together with the Quinnex SSLG using recycled plastic bottles — A simple yet creative and sustainable way to give waste a second LIFE. Projects like this remind us that environmental care doesn't always require big resources, just a big heart and a clear purpose.💚

With this, each bottle turned into a planter tells a story of action, responsibility, and hope for a greener tomorrow.

This project is part of Quinnex YES-O's ongoing mission to promote environmental awareness and responsibility within the school community. May it inspire others to turn everyday items into ECO-Solutions! 🌍🌱

National Science Club Month Culmination Program a Success

Brgy. San Pablo Manapla, Negros Occidental – The National Science Club Month Culmination Program held at Manapla National High School Quinaroyan Annex on September 30, 2024, was a resounding success. The event, themed "CLIMAQUEST: Forecasting Wind Shifts, Charting Climate Futures," showcased the talents and knowledge of the school's young scientists.

The program featured a variety of activities, including a science quiz bee, a volcanic eruption experiment, a fire bubbles experiment, and a science trivia contest. Students from all grade levels participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their understanding of scientific concepts and their passion for learning.

The highlight of the event was the fire bubbles experiment, where butane gas-filled bubbles were ignited. Students watched in amazement as the bubbles burst into flames, showcasing the power of science in action. The experiment was conducted by volunteers from different grade levels, leaving the audience both excited and entertained.

In his closing remarks, Sir Joyrem J. Ondrada, the Science Club Adviser, emphasized the importance of science education in addressing the challenges of climate change. He encouraged the students to continue exploring the wonders of the natural world and to use their knowledge to make a positive impact on their communities.

The National Science Club Month Culmination Program was a memorable event that inspired students to pursue careers in science and technology. It also highlighted the school's commitment to providing quality education and fostering a love for learning among its students.

Together with the YES-O, lets make this indeed the Biggest hour for Earth—through this Worldwide movement that brightens our future.

Introducing the 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙮 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙬𝙖𝙮📚

While strolling through our campus, engage on a fun and interactive way of learning in a world full of facts and trivias! This captures various topics, targets the students to learn and be inspired especially on promoting environmental awareness.

Follows the installation, the organization took itself to remain the school ground clean—ensuring to be neat and safe.

This project would’t be possible without our YES O adviser, Joyrem Ondrada, for his support and for allocating budget for this incredible project.🤗🙌

🌱Through these initiatives, YES-O continues its commitment in promoting sustainability as well as literacy.

2024 NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH CELEBRATION
Another successful program that aimed to awake the minds, voice out the silence, and decimate the cycle. A symposium on Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) took place at Manapla National High School - Quinaroyan Annex on March 21, 2024.

The event aimed to educate, raise awareness, and amplify voices. Special thanks to PNP - MANAPLA headed by PMAJ ROBELITO and PSSg Ivy L. Alvarez, WCPD PNCO as our RESOURCE SPEAKER in this symposium. Gratitude also goes to JUDY L. PADRONIA Brgy. San Pablo VAWC OFFICER.

Thanks to our YES - O members and Grade 10 Students for showcasing your dance moves, you guys really mezmerized and astonished us of what you’ve shown.

The Bureau of Fire Protection - Municipality of Manapla successfully conducted the Fire prevention symposium and Drill, and Fire Safety Inspection headed by Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SF02 Erwin Villarin at Manapla National High - Quinaroyan Annex on March 20, 2024.

🫡Salute to our firefighters for their valuable service & expertise in imparting knowledge in fire prevention and safety, and emergencies. We are honored to have the upportunity to learn from their wisdom and experiences in reducing the fire-related incidents.

We also acknowledge the commitment of the BFP-MANAPLA for the inspection of our establishments—ensuring the safety and security in our school community. Their commendable efforts significantly contributed to the success of Manapla National High School - Quinaroyan Annex Fire Prevention Month 2024.

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization and Supreme Secondary Learner Government went to a day full of immersive learning and an inspiring journey; benchmark tour at Manapla Eco-center.

From the Orientation and presentation about the Municipality’s initiatives for environment, a profound knowledge that fuels our commitment for sustainability as we are filled with a sense of purpose in creating positive changes within our school and beyond.
