Operation Evergreen continues! 🌱

Join us this March 18–19 in Barangay Baylao for our monthly Tree Planting Activity as we work together for a cleaner, greener, and more climate-resilient Mambajao.

Every tree planted today is an investment in our future.

🌳 Padayon ang tree planting activity sa Operation Evergreen sa Mambajao isip kabahin sa target nga makatanom og 1,000 ka kahoy matag bulan, Pebrero 27. Gihimo ang ikaduhang adlaw sa kalihokan isip pagpadayon sa kampanya alang sa mas luntian nga komunidad. Sa mosunod nga mga bulan, ipahigayon pa kini sa Barangay Baylao.

🌳 Gisugdan ang Day 1 sa Operation Evergreen sa Sitio Quipasa, Poblacion, Mambajao niadtong Pebrero 26. Naghiusa ang mga boluntaryo sa pagtanom og kahoy aron mapreserbar ang kinaiyahan. Ang kalihokan kabahin sa padayon nga paningkamot batok sa climate change.

Sharing pictures from our two-day tree planting activity for the month of February 2026.

As of February 27, 2026, Operation Evergreen has successfully planted 2,000 seedlings in Camiguin.

We began planting in January 2026, and we’re right on track toward our goal of planting at least 1,000 seedlings each month. For the first two months of this community initiative, planting efforts have been focused on Sitio Quipasa, Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiguin in areas chosen after close collaboration with the LGU Mambajao and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The 2,000 seedlings planted so far include:

• Antipolo – 500
• Bayokbayokan – 1,440
• Giant Bamboo – 60

We began planting in January 2026, and we’re right on track toward our goal of planting at least 1,000 seedlings each month. Day 1 of tree planting this February 🌱

Today, Operation Evergreen planted 500 seedlings (Antipolo, Bayokbayokan, and Giant Bamboo) along the riverbanks of Sitio Quipasa, Brgy. Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiguin.

Tomorrow, another 500 seedlings will be planted as part of Operation Evergreen’s commitment to plant at least 1,000 seedlings every month in Camiguin.
