Some goodbyes are harder than others because some friends leave pawprints that never truly fade.

Today, we remember the dogs, cats, and every beloved animal who once filled a home with warmth, a quiet moment with comfort, or an ordinary day with a little more joy. Though they may no longer be beside us, the love they gave remains—in the memories we hold, the stories we tell, and the spaces they once made brighter.

For every animal we have loved and lost, thank you for being part of our lives. You were never “just a pet.” You were family, a companion, and a little piece of our hearts.

May every beloved companion who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge be remembered not by the sadness of goodbye, but by the love that made their time with us so special. 🌈🤍

Until we meet again, may your pawprints remain forever in our hearts. 🐾

𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 🐶🐱

Providing food and water is one way we show care for animals, but responsible feeding does not end after they eat. Leaving food scraps, dirty bowls, or scattered waste can attract pests, create unsanitary conditions, and increase the risk of bacterial contamination.

✨ So, what can we do?
Use clean bowls, provide fresh drinking water, remove uneaten food, clean the area after feeding, and dispose of waste properly. These simple habits can help keep feeding spaces safer and healthier for the animals we care for.

Caring for animals means more than simply giving them food. Feed with kindness, and clean with responsibility. 🐾💚

𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬 & 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐁𝐁𝐓 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 “𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞” 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐭

Rescue is not simply about taking every cat we find home. It also means having the resources and capacity to care for them properly. 🐾

With limited funding, space, medical resources, and available staff and volunteers, BBT cannot take in every animal that needs help. There are also legal and practical limits to what we can responsibly accommodate.

Still, every little bit of help matters. Whether it’s providing food, sharing a rescue case, offering temporary care, or simply keeping an eye out, we can all be part of creating a safer and kinder community for animals. 💛

PAWS & LEARN: The Importance of Reporting Animal Abuse

As vocal people thrive, voiceless beings bleed. In a world where cruelty persists in silence, it is up to us to speak and defend those who cannot. Normalize reporting animal abuse, instead of tolerating the abuse itself.

WHY SHOULD WE REPORT ANIMAL ABUSE?
1. To ensure that those who intentionally harm or mistreat animals are held responsible.
2. To remind others that animals are living beings who deserve to be heard, respected, and protected.
3. To promote a culture where animals are treated with respect and kindness.
4. To normalize reporting animal abuse instead of tolerating the abuse itself.
5. To raise awareness about animal protection laws and encourage people to report animal abuse.
6. To honor animals who suffered from cruelty.

Speak up for those who cannot, honor those who suffered.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗦: 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

The cats we rescued from the pound are now safe, but some are still recovering from stress, illness, and trauma. Regular monitoring, enough food and water, and a safe environment remain important as they heal.

Sadly, Liam did not make it. As a senior cat who had already experienced trauma, his passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how much care rescued animals need. Rest in peace, Liam. You will be remembered.🕊

Meanwhile, the other rescued cats and kittens continue to receive the care they need.
