The upcoming week is expected to bring warm and mostly sunny conditions, with temperatures ranging from 33ยฐC to 35ยฐC. These temperatures are typical during the early dry season, indicating that summer heat is gradually intensifying.
The probability of precipitation remains low, starting with a 25% chance of rain on Sunday, and decreasing to 0โ€“1% for most of the week. This suggests generally stable atmospheric conditions with minimal rainfall expected.

As temperatures continue to rise, remember to stay hydrated ๐Ÿ’ง, limit prolonged exposure to heat, and apply sunscreen ๐Ÿงด when outdoors.

Astronomers estimate that the observable universe contains hundreds of billions to trillions of galaxies, each filled with billions or even hundreds of billions of stars. Altogether, this amounts to approximately 10ยฒยฒ to 10ยฒโด stars โ€” a number that may exceed the total estimated grains of sand across Earthโ€™s beaches and deserts.

If each grain of sand represented a star, entire Earth-sized planets could be filled with sand and still fail to match the universeโ€™s immense stellar population.
Suddenly, even the tallest mountains and deepest oceans feel small compared to the vastness of space ๐ŸŒŒ.

In a universe this immense, even the greatest things on Earth are only a small part of something much larger. So perhaps those fears do not need to hold you back โ€” try something new, take the chance, and let yourself shine โœจ.

Meet Kepler-452b, a fascinating exoplanetโ€”a planet that orbits a star outside our solar system.

Discovered in 2015, Kepler-452b is about 1.6 times larger than Earth, making it a super-Earth. It orbits the Sun-like star Kepler-452 and lies within the Habitable Zone, also known as the โ€œGoldilocks Zone,โ€ where conditions may allow liquid water to exist on a planetโ€™s surface.

Because of these characteristics, Kepler-452b is considered one of the most interesting potentially habitable exoplanets discovered so far. ๐ŸŒโœจ

Meet Ida Noddack, a German chemist who made groundbreaking contributions to nuclear chemistry in the early 20th century.

In 1934, Noddack suggested that an atomic nucleus could break into smaller fragments during nuclear reactionsโ€”an idea that closely resembles what we now know as Nuclear fission. At the time, many scientists dismissed her proposal, but only a few years later the phenomenon was experimentally confirmed.

She also co-discovered the element Rhenium in 1925 with Walter Noddack and Otto Berg by analyzing mineral samples using X-ray spectroscopy. Today, rhenium plays an important role in high-temperature alloys used in jet engines and turbines.

Although she was nominated several times for the Nobel Prize, Ida Noddack never received the award. Today, she is remembered as one of the scientists whose insights helped pave the way for modern nuclear science.

William Gilbert was a pioneering English physician and natural philosopher widely recognized as the โ€œFather of Electricity and Magnetism.โ€ Through systematic experimentation and observation, he helped transform the study of natural phenomena into an evidence-based scientific discipline.
In 1600, Gilbert published De Magnete, the first comprehensive scientific work devoted entirely to magnetism. In this landmark study, he demonstrated that Earth behaves like a giant magnet, explaining why compass needles naturally align in a northโ€“south direction.

Gilbert introduced the term electricus, meaning โ€œlike amber,โ€ to describe the attractive properties produced when certain materials are rubbed โ€” a concept that later gave rise to the modern word electricity. He also distinguished between magnetic forces and static electrical attraction, laying important foundations for future electrical science.
Among his inventions was the versorium, an early electroscope that used a freely pivoting needle to detect static electric charge.

By emphasizing experimentation rather than reliance on ancient authority, Gilbert helped advance the development of modern scientific inquiry. His work debunked common myths of his time, including the belief that garlic could interfere with magnetic compasses, and influenced later scientists such as Galileo Galilei and Johannes Kepler.

For many coastal communities, the idea of closing fishing areas once seemed impossible. Many feared it would reduce food supply and income. However, through decades of scientific research and community collaboration, Angel C. Alcala demonstrated that protecting marine ecosystems could actually strengthen both biodiversity and livelihoods.

A pioneering Filipino marine biologist, Alcala helped establish the concept of community-based marine sanctuaries in the Philippines. His long-term research in Apo Island became a global model for marine conservation. By protecting coral reefs from overfishing, his studies showed that fish populations recover, biodiversity increases, and nearby fishing grounds become more productive over time.

Beyond reef conservation, Alcala played an important role in the restoration of giant clam populations and documented numerous species of reptiles and amphibians, greatly expanding scientific knowledge of Philippine biodiversity.

For more than three decades, he conducted research across marine biology, conservation biology, and terrestrial ecology. He also contributed significantly to the development and application of artificial coral reef systems in Southeast Asia. His findings provided scientific evidence that fish populations can recover when habitats are properly protected โ€” guiding the establishment of successful marine sanctuaries managed by coastal communities and local authorities.

Alcala emphasized that the future of coastal communities is inseparable from the health of the ocean. His work strengthened the understanding that restoring marine ecosystems supports food security, sustainable livelihoods, and long-term environmental resilience. Today, his legacy continues to inspire scientists, conservationists, and communities to protect the seas for future generations.

The human skeleton is far more than a rigid framework โ€” it is a living, dynamic tissue system that constantly rebuilds itself. Through a process called bone remodeling, specialized cells continuously remove old bone and replace it with new material. This allows bones to repair microscopic damage, adapt to physical stress, and maintain strength throughout life.

Bones support movement, protect vital organs such as the brain and lungs, and serve as reservoirs for essential minerals like calcium and phosphorus. When needed, these minerals are released into the bloodstream to help regulate important biological processes.

Pound for pound, bone has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio. Its internal structure allows it to withstand significant compression while remaining lightweight โ€” a remarkable example of natural engineering.

Bones can even grow stronger under healthy mechanical stress. Just like in life, the challenges we face today can help build the strength we stand on tomorrow. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿฆด

The human stomach produces powerful acids and enzymes strong enough to break down foodโ€”and potentially damage its own tissue. To protect itself, the stomach is coated with a thick mucus layer and constantly renews its inner lining approximately every three to five days. This rapid cell turnover helps prevent the acid from damaging the stomach wall and allows digestion to occur safely and efficiently.

During World War II, secure communication could mean the difference between victory and defeat. While many knew Hedy Lamarr as a glamorous film actress, she was also a brilliant inventor whose ideas would quietly reshape the future of communication technology.

Hedy Lamarr co-developed a frequency-hopping spread-spectrum communication system, designed to prevent enemy forces from jamming radio-guided torpedoes. By allowing radio signals to rapidly switch between different frequencies, her invention made transmissions harder to intercept or disrupt. Although her design was not widely implemented during the war, it introduced a revolutionary concept in wireless communication.

Her work helped lay the groundwork for modern wireless technologies. Years later, similar spread-spectrum principles became essential to systems such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which rely on secure and interference-resistant signal transmission. What began as a wartime innovation eventually evolved into a core feature of everyday digital communication worldwide.

By combining her understanding of engineering with her background in music, Lamarr demonstrated how creativity and science can intersect to produce groundbreaking ideas. Her invention showed that scientific innovation can come from unexpected placesโ€”and that imagination can be just as powerful as formal training.

Hedy Lamarrโ€™s legacy reminds us that behind the screens and signals that connect us today lies the work of a woman whose brilliance went far beyond Hollywood. Her ideas did not just improve technologyโ€”they helped shape the wireless world we now live in.
