The Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia extends its warmest congratulations to our Immediate Past District Governor Eduardo "Ed" Trajano for receiving the prestigious District Excellence Award for District 3770!

It was truly a Magical Year, guided by the principle of "Service Above Self with a HEART." ❤️✨

A big salute as well to all the Magical Presidents and Rotarians whose shared mission and vision made this humbling award possible. This achievement belongs to all of you!

Inspired by this success, we will continue to UNITE FOR GOOD, bearing all the fruits of the Magic of Rotary.

📌 Regular Club Meeting Updates

The Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia had its regular meeting today, October 4, 2025 at Adelle' Restaurant.

Discussions focused on the preparations for the upcoming Governor’s Visit and the 8th Club Induction and Handover Ceremonies to be held on October 10, 2025 at the E-Library of Bulacan State University. Another important agenda was the Medical Mission scheduled on October 5, in partnership with the Sto. Niño de Malolos Foundation Inc.

We are also delighted to welcome our new member, Mam AJ Hitosis, who will officially be inducted during the October 10 ceremonies. 🎉

The club is filled with excitement as we look forward to celebrating these milestone events together with our families, friends, and fellow Rotarians. 💙💛

🤝 Fellowship in Service at the Intercity Meeting

The Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia was present at the 1st Intercity Meeting of Rotary District 3770 Zone 2 Area 10, held last October 1, 2025 at Taverna by Bahay na Tisa.

Attending on behalf of the club were President Aimee Grace Morala-Madlangbayan, who reported on completed and upcoming service projects, together with Immediate Past President Jan Robin Rodriguez and Past President Vilma Dizon.

The event was graced by our Guest of Honor and Speaker, City Mayor Atty. Christian D. Natividad, a proud Rotarian himself, who shared his insights on service and community leadership.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the collective effort of Area 10 clubs to conceptualize an impactful joint project that will benefit our fellow Maloleños, to be spearheaded by all Malolos Rotary Clubs.

Area 10 is composed of:

✨ RC Malolos – the Mother Club of Malolos
✨ RC Malolos Hiyas

Last September 29, 2025, the Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia spearheaded a Service Project in celebration of World First Aid Day through the Basic First Aid and Life Support Training with the Philippine Red Cross Bulacan and a session on Risk Management During Tours and at Work with the College of Criminal Justice Education. Held at the BulSU Valencia Hall from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this whole-day activity supported Rotary’s Areas of Focus on Disease Prevention and Treatment, Supporting Education and Basic Literacy, Community and Economic Development, and Maternal and Child Health.

This meaningful project was made possible in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross (Bulacan Chapter), Bulacan State University – College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and the College of Criminal Justice Education. Truly, participants became heroes in their own way by learning how to provide first aid and life support when the time comes.

President Aimee Grace Morala-Madlangbayan, Past President Vilma Dizon, and President Nominee Peachie Santos represented the Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia at the Induction and Handover Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Meycauayan Jewels held last September 15, 2025, at the City of Meycauayan Convention Center.

🌿 Service Above Self in Action! 🌿

Last September 12, 2025 at 4:00 PM, the Rotary Club of Malolos Independencia conducted a Service Project on Peace and Conflict Resolution and Environmental Sustainability through the donation of PPEs to the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) of the City of Malolos.

These PPEs will be used by our hardworking garbage collectors and MRF workers, who play a vital role in keeping our city clean, safe, and sustainable. 💚

This initiative reflects Rotary’s unwavering commitment to building peaceful communities and promoting environmental responsibility, one act of service at a time. 🌎✨
