BUKLURAN 2025: TOWN HALL ASSEMBLY OF STUDENT GROUPS

HIGHLIGHTS | Week 4 of the Animal Welfare Policy Mass Campaign

The BulSU SG Committee on Student Groups, in partnership with BulSU-Bound Tails (BBT), continues to champion BulSU’s first-ever Animal Welfare Policy.

For Week 4, the team focused on strengthening community involvement and compassion toward campus animals. Volunteers actively engaged with BulSUans through interactive booths and discussions, promoting responsible coexistence and encouraging support for the policy’s development.

As the campaign progresses, BulSUans are urged to continue participating in the Animal Welfare Policy Survey, which highlights the Animal Bite Scratch Response System (ABSRS) — a safety measure designed to ensure proper care and response for both students and animals on campus.

LathaLIKHA: Katalistas’ Digital News Pages

"If you want to change the world, pick up your pen and write."
— Martin Luther

For years, student journalists have stood at the forefront of truth-telling — writing not just to express, but to serve. Every word they write carries courage, conviction, and a deep commitment to the people.

We highlight these student groups’ digital news pages under the College of Arts and Letters, continuing the fight for truth and genuine public service:

Vigil Times
The Axis
Muni Muni Press
Sulyap Bayan Press
The Lumen
The Herald
The Sentinel

Different names, one purpose — to inform, inspire, and ignite change through the power of words.

Let us continue to support these student journalists as they uphold the pursuit of truth and service to the people — proving that words can move hearts, spark action, and transform the world.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ MONTH

HIGHLIGHTS | Week 3 of the Animal Welfare Policy Mass Campaign

The BulSU SG Committee on Student Groups, in partnership with BulSU-Bound Tails (BBT), continues to push forward BulSU’s first Animal Welfare Policy.

This week, volunteers reached out to BulSUans to raise awareness on animal welfare issues and collected valuable inputs that will help build a policy centered on empathy, responsible action, and a secure, animal-friendly campus.

The survey also remains open, with special emphasis on the Animal Bite Scratch Response System (ABSRS)—a support system for BulSUans who may encounter campus cats.
