Hindi lahat ng lugar ay naaabot ng tulong, kaya’t kahit sa simpleng pagkaing naipamahagi namin, lubos ang pasasalamat ng mga taong matinding naapektuhan ng Bagyong Crising.

Pauna na po ang aming pasasalamat sa Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Miguel, Calumpit sa pakikiisa at pagsama sa amin sa paglibot sa mga lugar sa kanilang barangay na hindi pa nararating ng anumang tulong.

Maraming salamat din po sa lahat ng nag-donate para sa mga pagkaing naipamahagi namin. Taos-puso rin ang aming pasasalamat kay Ma’am Angela Navarro sa pagtanggap sa amin sa kanilang tahanan upang makapagluto at makapaghanda. Salamat rin sa mga Sir na boluntaryong tumulong at sumama sa amin sa paglakad sa San Miguel, at sa mga volunteers ng Paglaum—maraming salamat po.

“Kayo pa lang ang nakarating dito para magbigay ng tulong.”
Maikling salita, ngunit tagos sa puso at sumasalamin sa taon-taong paghihirap na nararanasan ng maraming Pilipino tuwing may sakuna. Kaya huwag ipagsawalang bahala ang mga bagay na dapat SINUSULUSYUNAN.

We are humbly seeking your support for the residents of San Miguel, Calumpit, Bulacan, who are currently staying at evacuation centers due to severe flooding in their area.

Together with BulSU SRC-KaYaKap and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Miguel, we are organizing a feeding program to provide hot meals for the evacuees.

𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀🩵

As June comes to an end and July begins, this upcoming project holds a very special place in Paglaum’s heart. In partnership with Project Ulayaw, we are now able to extend help to children battling cancer at the National Children’s Hospital in Quezon City.

On June 27, 2025, one of Paglaum’s founders, Ms. Angelica, visited NCH and met with the founder of Project Ulayaw, Ms. Keysi. Through this encounter, Paglaum expressed its desire to join the 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗘𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of NCH, which provides educational support to pediatric cancer patients — ensuring they can continue learning even while in the hospital, and bringing joy to their hearts.

We are deeply grateful to be part of this meaningful journey with Project Ulayaw. In line with this, we humbly seek sponsors for whiteboards, whiteboard markers, and flashcards that will be used in our tutoring sessions at NCH—if you want to volunteer in tutoring don't hesitate to contact us.

I LOVE YOU, BAHAY KALINGA LOLAS!🫶

Today was a truly heartwarming and fulfilling day—one that we will always remember. Seeing the genuine smiles, hearing the joyful laughter, and listening to the inspiring stories of our beloved Lolas touched all of our hearts deeply.

Paglaum would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all our generous donors and sponsors. Because of your kindness, we were able to provide both material and financial support to our dear Lolas, especially for their medications and daily needs. Your help reminds us that compassion knows no boundaries and that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We also want to extend our deepest thanks to the amazing team of volunteers who dedicated their time, effort, and hearts to make this project successful—spearheaded by Ms. Angelica Narciso, every activity was filled with love, joy, and purpose. 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙊 𝙋𝙊: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖🤍🩵

This coming June 22, 2025, we at Paglaum will be visiting Bahay Kalinga Home for the Aged. As young volunteers, our goal is simple: to bring comfort, connection, and care to those who need it most. And this visit is all about letting our dear lolas know they’re not forgotten — that they’re still deeply loved and valued.

We’re reaching out with open hearts, asking for your support. If you can, we’d truly appreciate donations of milk, mamon (soft pastries), diapers, pad, towels, etc. or cash to help with their medicine and daily needs. Even the smallest gift can bring a big smile to a lola’s face. 😊
