EDSA at 40: The People, The Power, The Promise. 🇵🇭

Forty years ago, history shifted along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue as Filipinos chose courage over fear and unity over silence. The People Power Revolution was not fueled by weapons, but by conviction—a collective stand that ended the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos and reopened the path to democratic rule.

EDSA proved that change does not always roar—sometimes, it prays, links arms, protects one another, and refuses to back down. It reminded the world that the true strength of a nation lies not in its rulers, but in its people.

Four decades later, this anniversary is more than a commemoration. It is a challenge to guard our freedoms, confront injustice, and ensure that the lessons of history are neither erased nor ignored.
