In the said event the organization invited the Honorable Bojie Dy III as their guest speaker and some of the high ranking officials of province Isabela and together with ou Mayor Pedro Flores. During the said event Mayor Flores anticipated to meet the group of Malliguenious but only upset to know that theres no such group yet organized from his Municipality. On the second annual Anniversary celebr
ation of ISAFOWA, the officers and members of the said organization reached and convinced one og our townmate, Ms Lovely Calderon Calantoc to join and represent the municipality of Mallig for Ms. Popularity Contest and from there we are expecting to meet our Honorable Mayor as well as our provincial Governor but unfortunately they are not available during that time. In that affair we observed the Camaraderee, support and teamwork of all officers and members of ISAFOWA from there they gave us the courage and motivation to organize our own group that will came from the different barangays of our Municipality. Unexpectedly, we met the ISAFOWA adviser Mr. Binag and we are so glad and lucky to know that he's a native of Mallig and residence of Holy Friday. With all the courage and wellingness to organize a group of Malliguenious from the 18 Barangays of Mallig, we started to contact our relatives and friends whom we know that they are a native of Mallig working here in hong kong. Organizing a group of people from different places with different ideas and views in life is not an easy task. But through determination and eagerness to have an association we are feared and we're ready to face any circumstances that will arise. The MAFOWA finally organized and established on July 29,2012 headed by Ms Lovely Calderon Calantoc of Barangay Olango Mallig Isabela as acting President. During her terms the numbers of members gradually grows and through proper election last January of this year the adviser Mr. Binag of Holy Friday Mallig Isabela as Chairman. The vision and mission of MAFOWA inspires him to have programs that will benefits the members, immediate family member and also the 18 baqrangays of mallig. We are hoping and praying that the fruits of success of MAFOWA will be shared to the people of mallig for the coming years with the help and cooperation of all the members and divine intervention of Almighty Go.....MABUHAY MAFOWA
