𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐌𝐘𝐋𝐎 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩

What started as a simple coastal clean-up at Brgy. Lais, Malita, Davao Occidental became a powerful movement of unity and purpose. The 𝗠𝗣𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟳 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶, alongside the 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐌𝐘𝐋𝐎) and 𝗬𝗢𝗥𝗣-𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, proved that when people come together, even small actions can create lasting change.

Led and inspired by the 𝗠𝗣𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟳 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗗𝗷𝗮𝗺𝘆𝗹𝗮 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗼, 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗘, this initiative reflects strong leadership and a shared commitment to protecting our environment and empowering the community.

Every bag of collected waste is a reminder that protecting our oceans starts with us. Together, we are building cleaner communities and a more sustainable future for generations to come.

This initiative supports the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀) by promoting environmental protection through 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟰: 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, addressing climate challenges under 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟯: 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, fostering cleaner and safer communities aligned with 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟭: 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, and strengthening collaboration through 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟭𝟳: 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀.

The Malita Young Leaders Organization (MYLC), through our OPLAN TABANG initiative, humbly calls on everyone with kind hearts to extend help and compassion to the fire victims of Barangay Fishing Village and Sitio Bisang, Barangay Lais.

Families have lost their homes and basic necessities due to this unfortunate incident. Any form of assistance — whether in cash, goods, or prayers — will be a great help in helping them rebuild and recover during this difficult time.

Last December 20, the Malita Young Leaders Organization shared a meaningful and joyful Christmas celebration through Pamaskong Handog held at Bito Elementary School. It was a heartwarming day dedicated to spreading happiness, love, and the true spirit of Christmas among the children.

The event was filled with fun and interactive games that brought laughter and excitement to everyone. Along with these activities, we distributed snacks and gifts to the kids, creating moments of joy and making them feel appreciated and remembered during this special season.

The MYLC does not focus solely on academic or leadership skills—it also emphasizes 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬.

The 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐎, headed by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳, with facilitators led by 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐝, conducted an engaging 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 that united the youth leaders, tested their collaboration and problem-solving skills, and allowed them to enjoy meaningful moments together.
