Today, we celebrate not just an anniversary — we celebrate a movement. As the Holy Ecosians turns three years old, we honor the journey we have built together since 2025 and the early months of 2026.

Three years ago, this organization began with a vision — a vision to protect our environment, to empower young leaders, and to promote responsibility, integrity, and good governance. Today, that vision continues to grow stronger because of the dedication, passion, and commitment of our members, volunteers, advisers, and partners.

Our journey has not been easy. It has been filled with challenges, stress, responsibilities, and moments of uncertainty. But through every obstacle, we chose to move forward. Through every difficulty, we chose to serve. And through every sacrifice, we chose to stay committed to our mission.

The results of our hard work speak for themselves. We have grown not only as an organization, but as leaders, advocates, and protectors of our environment. What we have achieved is something we can all be proud of.

To our Bantay Bukid and Dagat volunteers, to our advisers, administrators, sponsors, partners, and supporters — thank you for believing in this mission. Your support made this legacy possible.

This is not the end of our story. This is only the beginning of a stronger chapter. The Holy Ecosians will continue to stand for the environment, continue to develop leaders, and continue to serve with integrity and purpose.

𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗡: In 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝗶𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮, where the land gently meets the vast waters of the Davao Gulf, a quiet story of hope has been unfolding on the 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 in Barangay Lais, Malita, Davao Occidental. 🌊🐢

In 2022, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗬𝘂𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗨𝘆𝗼𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 discovered an Olive Ridley sea turtle nesting site, leading to the creation of a small sanctuary. When floods caused by the ITCZ destroyed the first facility in December 2024, the work did not stop. With determination, the sanctuary was relocated within Barangay Lais and rebuilt with the support of 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮.

Last 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, and 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟱, 𝟳, 𝟭𝟮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a total of 𝟳𝟭𝟱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 along the seashore of 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗟𝗮𝗶𝘀, specifically at the 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 headed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗬𝘂𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝘆𝗮𝗴.

In addition, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗼, a neighboring barangay.

The 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟰 came from 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀, showing the richness and strength of our sanctuary.

This is a strong testament to how 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀.

We, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, invite everyone to 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 to help spread awareness and encourage the community to 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆.

⏳ 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀, each batch of eggs hatches, and the baby turtles are 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 to begin their journey.
