We request an open invitation to all Bachelor of Secondary Education students Major in English students who are enthusiastic of continuing to equip compassion for this organization and dedicate their energy and time for the growth of the institution and the community.

Attached are the duties and responsibilities of each positions stated on the 2026-2027

CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF FUTURE ENGLISH TEACHERS ENTHUSIASTS SOCIETY (FETES) ORGANIZATION and should be reviewed first before running for any of the position of electoral candidates.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀
2.1. All the students who will run for the position of FETES Council shall be a bona fide student of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English from First Year to Fourth Year.
2.2. The position for President, Vice President shall be available for the students from Second Year to Fourth Year only with regular loads for the past semesters, and has a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 90 % (1.9) and above.
2.3. The position for Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer, Sergeant-at-arms, and Business Managers shall be opened for all students from 1st year to 4th year with regular loads, and must have no 3 failing grades. The GWA must be 85% (2.4) and above.
2.4. The party must present an annual project/activity as one of their advocacy that will benefit the students, department and the institution. Independents must give single activity only with the same beneficiaries.
2.5. Representatives per year level must be voted by their fellow year level students and representatives per block shall be appointed by their fellow year level blocks.
2.6. Candidates must have not been terminated from the previous school-based organization to which he/she was affiliated to, within the institution.
𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀
3.1. Election shall be done online through poll on the facebook group of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English hereby referred as the SJCC English Majors.

3.2. Voters must be an eligible student of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English.
3.3. The assigned Commission on Election (ComElec) will extract and monitor the votes and post them to the FETES page.
3.4. Voters will be tallied and verified by the ComElec based on the BSEd Major in English master lists. Dummies, improper names, and second accounts are not valid.
3.5. The candidates must campaign only on the days provided.
3.6. The voting will be opened only during the days given by the Electoral Committees.
3.7. The candidates are strictly prohibited to mention names on the comment section of the poll and posts during the days of Election. If in case a candidate does any of the prohibited actions as reviewed already by the ComElec, five (5) votes will be subtracted from his/her total votes in every offenses he/she made.
3.8. In case of a tie, the ComElec shall require the presence of the candidates for a toss coin.
3.9. Final results shall be considered irrevocable and non-appealable.
