Yseali YouNified Bukidnon United States Grantees (USG) Alumni Association-Bukidnon The incidence of forest fires has greatly increased in the last 5 months in bukidnon.

Not only frequency fires increased but also their intensity and the speed with which they spread. This due to climate extreme, increwase of annual temperature (El Nino) . Forest Fires are caused by Human activity. Consequently, the project aims to enhance effective , proactive and continous fire prevention activity. The USG-Alumni Bukidnon together with other organizations aspires to take the lead

in protecting Mt. Kitanglad and the forests within Bukidnon, the involvement would help highlight the importance of recognizing forest fire fighter volunteers for all that they do; and supporting their work from the community level all the way to the national level
