The 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐘𝐃𝐎) is celebrating 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, aligning with national celebrations in the Philippines.❤️🖤💛

This year’s theme, “𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴: 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴, 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴,” highlights the province's commitment to supporting and including Bukidnon's indigenous youth. The initiative aims to uplift the culture, protect the rights, and honor the ancestral lands of the region's tribal communities.

📍 BUKIDNON LEAGUE OF LOCAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS MEETING

The Bukidnon League of Local Youth Development Officers (LYDOs) conducted its meeting on September 29, 2026, at Cafe de Carls Restaurant, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, bringing together our local youth development practitioners to discuss important matters and strengthen our collective efforts for the youth of Bukidnon.

The meeting was presided over by Acting Provincial Youth Development Officer Alejandro B. Dano, Jr.

Among the key agenda discussed were:
🔹 Evaluation of the Provincial Linggo ng Kabataan (PLNK) 2026 – reflecting on the implementation, accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned toward making future youth activities more meaningful and impactful.
🔹 Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) – strengthening the monitoring of youth programs, projects, and activities across the province.
🔹 Upcoming Activities – coordination and preparation for the province’s upcoming youth development initiatives.
🔹 SK Regional Task Force (SK RTF) Report – updates and matters concerning the continuing work and coordination of the SK RTF.
🔹 Other Matters – other concerns and initiatives relevant to the effective delivery of youth development programs and services.

As LYDOs, we play a vital role in bridging the needs and aspirations of our young people with responsive programs and policies. Through continuous coordination, collaboration, and sharing of good practices, we can further strengthen youth development efforts throughout the Province of Bukidnon.

📣 PROVINCIAL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL | 3RD QUARTER MEETING

The Provincial Youth Development Council (PYDC) of Bukidnon successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting at Delan’s Place and Venue, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last September 28, 2026

The meeting was presided over by Ms. Maria Bhebs Jalagat, PYDC Representative of Malaybalay Flag Football with the Secretariat, Acting PYDO Alejandro DanoJr in the absence of PPSK Ex-Officio President Hon. Rhea Lou Linas.

Among the important matters discussed and acted upon by the Council were:
📌 Approval of the Provincial Youth Development Plan (PYDP) 2026–2028
📌 Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) Renewal
📌 Upcoming programs, projects, and activities for Bukidnon youth
📌 Other matters concerning the continued strengthening of youth participation and development in the province

Cybercrime Awareness Symposium

It was a very informative morning as the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) conducted an Online Symposium on Cybercrime Awareness, aimed at equipping the youth with knowledge and practical guidance on staying safe in the digital world.

We were grateful to have Atty. Mara Genina Unabia, who discussed Republic Act No. 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012, and PEMS Madeline Cenabre from the Cybercrime Office, who shared valuable insights on “What to Do When You Experience Cyberbullying or Online Scams.”

The symposium provided an important reminder that being informed, vigilant, and responsible online can help protect ourselves and others from cybercrime.
