PYAP Malaybalay successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting on February 10, 2026, at The Gardens Party Venue, Malaybalay. The meeting was attended by the PYAP Presidents of the different chapters in Malaybalay, together with the PYAP Kalasungay President, Jovel Dalmento, fostering collaboration, leadership, and shared commitment to youth development. The gathering also expressed collective optimism and hope for the success of the upcoming activities planned for the year.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) successfully conducted its Sportsfest 2025 on December 6–8, 2025, at Capitan Anghel, Malaybalay City. This year’s event proudly carried the theme:

β€œEmpowering the Youth Through Unity, Sportsmanship, and Active Community Engagement.”

The three-day sportsfest gathered youth representatives from various barangays, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and active participation through sports, talent showcases, and creative competitions.

Barangay Kalasungay proudly displayed exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and creativity across different events, earning the following awards:

This coming October 12, 2025 1:00pm at the Barangay Hall, the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP)–Kalasungay Chapter will hold a Youth Meeting and Skills Training Program with the theme: β€œEmpowering Youth through Skills and Knowledge.” 🌟

The activity will feature Basic Computer Skills Training and Cooking Skills Workshop, designed to equip the youth with essential knowledge and practical abilities that they can use in their daily lives and future endeavors. This program is more than just trainingβ€”it is an opportunity to learn, to connect with fellow youth, and to grow as responsible and empowered members of our community.

On September 24, 2025, the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) – Kalasungay Chapter proudly participated in the Provincial PYAP Bukidnon Congress 2025 with it's theme "Thriving, not just surviving: holistic support for the socio-emotional well-being, igniting hope and shaping the future of a new era of PYAP-AKO " held at the Folk Arts Theatre, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

One of the key highlights of the event was a powerful talk by Mr. Alejandro B. Dano Jr., Acting Provincial Youth Development Officer, who emphasized the importance of mental health awareness among the youthβ€”reminding everyone that "mental health is just as important as physical health in building a better future."

It was a day of learning, collaboration, and empowerment, as youth leaders across the province gathered to strengthen unity and advocacy for youth development.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines Kalasungay Chapter is hosting a skills training event on March 29, 2025 - 08:00am, at the Barangay Kalasungay Hall, and we want YOU to be part of it! This event is all about empowering young people with valuable skills that can help you grow both personally and professionally. One of the main focuses will be on using social media responsiblyβ€”how to be smart, safe, and ethical online while making the most out of digital platforms.
